Very happy with the service provided. I needed a very small thing replaced so I was having trouble actually getting an electrician to come and do something so small! We are planning a reno in the near future and are considering using them for it now! He also checked out a few outlets for me and provided some helpful advice about electrical inspections.

It was the long weekend with a major storm and in the night I heard a thunderous bang thinking that a tree must have come down. But my power was still on and when I looked outside, I couldn't see any damage. The next day, a neighbour in the back had a crew cleaning up a tree that had fallen (I found out later that the hydro line to their home was also damaged). It wasn't until a few days later while cleaning the deck that I looked up to see my hydro mast was broken and leaning at an angle. I was genuinely scared and immediately called Enersource (hydro provider). I found out that the mast was my responsibility and I would have to find an electrician to repair it. Trying to find an electrician on short notice that can do this work is difficult especially if you're like me and have issues trusting people. I called 6 companies and none were available. The 7th was Solutions and used their emergency line and spoke with Tony. I was able to send photos and got an estimate. The next day, Dave and Carmen arrived first thing in the morning. Enersource was contacted to disconnect the service line. The work was challenging because Dave had to remove deck boards to change the pipe that feeds the electrical panel in the basement. I was really concerned about damage to our deck but Dave did a fantastic job. He explained everything (a couple times because I'm a bit slow when it comes to this stuff) and in the end had the site all cleaned up. It took most of the day to have all the work done, and Enersource was back to reconnect the power. They commented on the great work done with the new meter and how neat all the wiring was. The biggest thing I have to note here is 'peace of mind'. When it comes to electrical, there is a level of danger that's always present and when you have professionals getting the work done the right way the first time, I feel safe and comfortable.

We asked Solutions Electrical to install new potlights in our kitchen ceiling and to replace our bathroom fan. From the start, Solutions was efficient, transparent and listened very well to determine precisely our requests. They then scheduled the repairs within a short time, provided a very kind and efficient crew to complete the work, and left everything behind them tidy. In the end, the lights and fan have worked superbly and the repair of the kitchen ceiling was flawless. What particularly impresses me about Solutions is that it addressed every question that I had patiently and thoroughly. It also took the trouble to follow through and help replace a switch (at no extra cost to us) which helped the lights to work even more efficiently. Their patience, ability to listen, ability to follow through, and concern for our home's safety and well-being, was exemplary, and there is no question that we shall call Solutions for further lighting changes (e.g., when finishing our basement). They did top notch work and their actions match their words.

This is not the first time (or last) where we've used Solutions Electrical. We first heard of them from the Holmes on Homes show and on prior jobs, were very happy with their work. The guys there (Dave, Rob, Martina, etc.) are professional, are experts in what they do and are also easy going. They care about the quality of their work and are respectful to the clients feedback/concerns. They provided an ESA certificate once work was completed and you simply have confidence that they did the job right. You don't mess with electrical, turn to the professionals who can get the job done right at the right price! :)

Solutions Electrical came ontime, investigated my defective chandalier and fixed it in a matter of minutes. The onsite technician was courteous, transparent, and customer focused explaining exactly what he was doing. And what shocked me the most was this company was more affordable then non-Homestars companies. Why would we want to use anyone else? I called Solutions Electrical this am to rebook my appointment because of a complicated thermostat situation that I'm having. I spoke with Frank the owner, who totally understood my situation and actually understood the issues I was having better than my property manager. Frank advised me that the best use of my money was to reschedule the appointment and offered a solution for the complication with my property manager. The part that gets my respect, is that it was his total honest opinion, which meant that he was not going to get paid today. Sadly most companies would have just pushed for the call out to make a few bucks. Anytime someone is honest enough to cost themselves money, give me strait forward educated, and honest advice, they're a 10 in my books. Thanks for your help and advice Frank. You've got my business.

We received 3 quotes, all within a small range but Solutions Electric was the only one with follow-up questions to ensure they were quoting for the right product. The initial work was completed when promised, neatly and efficiently, and the follow-up to finish the work, after the plasterers (who they recommended) where done, was similarly completed.

The Solutions team ran Cat 6 cabling in four areas of our home - which is a 1930's house (double brick walled) with a newer 2nd storey. They were able to cable with mimimal damage (only 3 small holes). We knew this company was top quality, but even we were surprised with how professional and friendly the team was, and the quality of the workmanship and products. We will definitely go to them for our next electrical project!

The team arrived on time, cored a hole in the basement wall and installed an exhaust fan in the basement ceiling. The work was done efficiently and the cleanup was complete. Good work!

Guys did a fantastic job, came on time, very polite, installed the switches & cleaned up the site. excellent service. Job took less than estimated time. Couldn't ask for better service.
