Primary job was replacement of fuse box with a breaker panel and whole-house surge protector. Also to review and advise on previous homeowner's DIY wiring in an addition and hang a dining room light fixture. Dave and Dave did a great job, quick and efficient. Especially impressed with the creative work done on the light fixture, which of course didn't fit the ages old box in the plaster ceiling. Was envisioning plaster coming down or shopping for a new fixture but after some effort and experimentation they solved the problem. Highly recommended.

Joe and Mike came over to replace the old fuse box with a circuit breaker panel. They also tested all outlets and fixed the dangerous ones. They intalled 4 compact flourescent bulbs where loose lightbulbs were dangling. They also provided a lot of tips and advice on further upgrades in the future. Great guys and a job well done. Thanks.

I bought an old Toronto home, and the previous owner had sort of upgraded outlets as she went, but the work wasn't really done properly. Frank and his team, came in and fixed me up, and even covered for a contractor or wasn't up to snuff. He's a by the book kind of guy, and when it comes to the safety of my family I'm OK with that as I don't want corners cut.

Very professional. Excellent quality of workmanship, fair estimate. After a home inspector recommended an upgrade to 200 amp service for our 1970's era house, Frank and his team questioned why we needed it, and helped us settle on only the necessary tasks. When the workers cut a space in the drywall for the outlet, and then had to cut another space, Frank acknowledged the error, and asked me flatly - "what I can do to make it better" - and accepted a price reduction to compensate for the labour I would need to put in to fix the wall. Good people - go with this company!

I purchased a new vent hood for my kitchen and decided to install it myself. Long story short, I blew out my power in the process (at 7pm). I have had Solutions in to fix some of my other DIY disasters, and have had nothing but great experiences with them. After lighting every candle I could find, I called their office expecting to leave a message and have someone come in this morning to fix me up. To my surprise, Frank picked up the phone! I explained my problem and, after trying to talk me through the fix (to no avail), he said he would come to my house ON HIS WAY HOME FROM WORK and solve the problem, for an extremely reasonable fee. It is this kind of 'above and beyond' service that keeps customers like me calling back, and referring Solutions Electrical to anyone who will listen. You might think that major reno project is stressful ?? It could be at some point or if you don’t hire the right contractor…. One thing you shouldn’t mess up is electricity and you should leave it to the professional… like Solutions Electrical. We called Frank to get an assessment and he came quickly and gave us tremendous advices on what need to be done on our major project. Most of the project was driven by Joe and what a pleasant and professional individual ! Joe upgrade our panel, did major rewiring from the basement to the kitchen, to the garage – replace all outlets and switches on the main and second floor, install new pot light in the kitchen, new valance lights, replace all electrical in the powder room and more. Solutions came a few times, since we had to finalize our own things in the reno project – they accommodate us in their very busy schedule, work fast and extremely professional – always pleasant to deal with – and to top that… The service at the office for scheduling and payment is pleasant and just what you dream of when you have to deal with major project like that… So, thanks a million to Frank, to Joe for his hard work, precious advices and always fun attitude, to Paul for his candid humour and ethical work, to Dave, Mike and the other Dave for your work and to make our home safe… When we turn a switch on… we don’t second guess!!! and thanks to Lia in the office who is always pleasant to talk to and always prompt to return calls and messages… this is rare in this business !!! We will see you in 2012 for our basement project – and as usual, burgers and pizza will be served... black coffee, lots of it.... and veggie sub & pizza for Joe, of course... Cheers !

I was renovating my kitchen in August and called Solutions Electrical. They were excellent from the get go. The owner, as seen on Holmes on Holmes, attended my home and made some excellent suggestions on the pot lights and undercounter lighting as I didn't want those small puck lights. Just before they started work we had a major electrical surge that knocked out one of my appliances. As per Solutions we installed a whole house surge protector so any future surges will be stopped right at the electrical box. I have completed my kitchen and the lighting that was installed and recommended is absolutely brilliant. I just wanted to thank all at Solutions as they were very professional, timely,clean, experienced and knowlegdeable.

Had a very professional job done installing potlights although expensive it was good to see tradesmen who knew what they were doing very courteous and also did minimal damage to the walls and did an excellent clean up.

Solutions Electrical did various jobs for us; including installing pot-lights, fixtures etc. But I was most impressed with Frank (one of the owners) when I emailed him with some concerns/questions on a bathroom renovation that we were having done. He was very informative and honest, and led me to discover that the electrical work that was being done in my home was not certified by ESA, and an apprentice was completing the work. I was shocked!!! Frank walked me through what I should do, and gave me advice on how to handle the situation. I than had Frank's team come into my home to check the work and make the appropriate changes to ensure that me and my family were safe. His team was very respectful and quickly completed the work. I would highly recommend Solutions Electrical for any electrical work you need completed in your home. Frank and his employees are very passionate about what they do, and ensure that you're satisfied with their work. Trust me when I say, don't look any further.....just call them....you won't be disappointed!
