Solutions was the best! Frank came to the house and reviewed everthing with me taking time to explain things well. Then the work was scheduled and done on time with no issues. Professional clean the best!

I called Frank to discuss having some phone lines run into a couple rooms and replacing a bathroom fan that the previous owner of the house put in with the vent only going into the attic. Frank spoke with me for a long time about my options, all of which didn't involve fleecing me for no reason. Great, friendly advice and all this on a Sunday afternoon.

Had to have the basement electrical rewired and cleaned up due to a discovery due to the lousy cable splitter. Frank provided us with a written quote aswell as quotes for extras and recommendations and were able to come within 3 weeks. Jay and Elonzo were great guy who knew their stuff. The job took 2 days and they were prompt and on time. Others wanted to just re-wire the basement. but upon closer inspection it was mainly the lights and needed a new fuse box. Would recommend to anyone.

My husband and I bought our first house, a 1959 semi detached bungalo in North York. The previous homeowners had done some "interesting" modifications to the original electrical wiring which included seriously overloaded junction boxes and breakers as well as a number of other concerns. Frank came to our house and had a good look around and answered all our questions and concerns. He was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell he was very proud of the company and the work they do, he really put us at ease. After the "test & troubleshoot" was completed we decided to go ahead and re-wire the house (the basement is unfinished.. so it seemed logical to correct the MANY issues before finishing the basement). Frank provided us with a quote which was affordable and competitive, we were very pleased. The work took exactly as long as was quoted and there was a very minimal amount of mess. The team (Robin and Chris) were great guys, they always showed up in the morning on time and let us know what they would be working on for the day and answered all our questions. There was a small issue with a faulty breaker that resulted in our dryer not operating properly, however Frank/Joe arranged to have one of the guys come out to have a look right away and it was fixed in minutes, these guys really stand behind their work!!! Solutions also recommended company who came in to do the small drywall repairs and he was fantastic as well. As first time home buyers we were nervous about undertaking job like a re-wire, we didn't want to get in over our heads financially. Solutions made the job quick and painless, we couldn't we happier!! Thanks so much to Frank, Joe, Robin, Chris and the whole Solutions gang... who knew having your electrical re-wired could be such a positive experience!!! We will be customers for life.

Here is the story I was told. Picture Saturday May 8, 2010 stormy weather with 70+ km winds with just a bit of drizzle. The lights go out. The electrical panel has made a sound as if 100 breakers just went off. Outside the window, blue flashes seen repeatedly...as if lightning was striking one after another. Finally when outside, see the wires across our lawn and on the driveway. Told the transmitter has blown just where a large branch from two (2) houses north has fallen onto the wires. Then two(2)houses south,the electrical pole is on fire and blue coloured electrical surges are going along the side of that house south of us ... one blue flash after another blue flash. Once the fire and police vehicles all arrived he was directed to get back in the house (no staying outside nor driving the car out of driveway).When hydro completed it's work,could switch the electric panel breakers back on. The power worked everywhere! Checked out the lamps(4)/electronic equipment/all the brand new light fixtures recently installed(15+4 from before)/stove top/washer/dryer/electrical outlets,sockets in house/in garage/outside - all switched on successfully - all worked EXCEPT the green light on the surge protector. The surge protector had fried! The surge protector was in smoke! We thank Frank/Mike/Joe and all those that worked on our house! We thank Frank that the surge protector was highly recommended and that we agreed. In this day and age of stormy weather, not one household should be without one! We thankyou in providing us peace of mind. We surely would have been distraught if most of our electrical items had been damaged. In the neighbourhood one homeowner not only lost a number of electrical components but a flood resulted when the electric power surged causing the main water pipe to explode. Their basement flooded. We are blessed that the surge protector prevented the costly stress and repairs the neighbour must go thru now. We only had to have the surge protector replaced, and this is what Joe did today, Tuesday May 11!

This company renewed our faith in contractors. They were dependable, respectful and completed the job in a timely manner whilst respecting our home. The crew worked diligently on our 130 year old Victorian home and completed the job within the time frame that was given. We would use them again for future jobs and have no issues giving them a reference.

Found Frank from website and Holmes on Holmes show. Frank described in detail how he would repair and address my concerns. Quote and final price stayed the same no surprises. Thank you very much Frank.

I found this company on this GREAT site, it was not easy because I did not know anybody to help me narrow down our search. This site did that. I am extreMELY HAPPY with the crew, they were very informative, curious, polite, and most of all they respected our home. We did a lot of research before hiring Solutions Electrical,(I called 10 and saw 4) wow what an experience, Frank was not negative, BUT very firm and passionate regarding the electrical industry. He is the most informative contractor that we know, honest to a fault, and now that I think about it they we not the most expensive... we KNOW we made the right choice. I can go on for ever, call these guys the are the real mc coy.

Solutions offered the kind of service we were looking for. Upfront honesty, qualified tradespeople, excellent work ethic. As electricity is something that you want to be done right & safe we were left with the feeling that we made the right decision in choosing Solutions.

We had them come in to assess our electrical outlets and circuits throughout our new house. We wanted to make sure things were safe and to code. They also quoted us on in-floor heating and security lights. Joe and his apprentice were very thorough and unobtrusive during the 5hour service. Frank came back to review the report and made suggestions without pressuring us. He told us we could wait on most things without trying to scare us into booking right away. The company was recommended by friends and I am glad we did this service for the peace of mind it gave us, not to mention the detailed information we now have for our electrical panel. This is an addition to my initial review. The company overcharged me a bit on the service and was supposed to refund the difference. It's been over six months now and after several email messages, I still have no refund.
