    Humane critter removal

    I have used gates wildlife ever since toronto wildlife recommended them to me 15 years ago. Great job and I love their warranty. I recommend them for all wildlife issues.

    Great service!

    Gates wildlife came the same day, and solved the problem on the spot - squirrels in the attic. Great service and followup. Very happy with the service and would highly recommend.

    Racoon Removal from Attic

    I kept hearing noises from the attic and discovered I had a not so friendly racoon. I immediately called Gates having used them before and knowing how responsive and effective they are. Upon making my phone call, I was able to get immediate support from Brad and Nick - both were great. Nick, in particular, went way above and beyond my expectations to diagnose the situation. He thoroughly inspected the attic, the roof and used an infrared scanner to precisely locate mommy racoon and her babies. He then strategically opened a spot on the roof/soffit to gently coax the mom out, while he rescued the 3 baby racoons and left them in heated box for mom to reunite later that night. My roof and soffits have been repaired (better than before), no more sleepless nights, and racoon family is back together - thankfully at another den and not my roof. The entire process was simply remarkable. I highly recommend using Nick and the Gates crew - good people and experts at their craft. They are serious about your satisfaction being guaranteed.

    Hole in roof caused by raccoons

    Raccoons had chewed through roof . I called Gates as I was concerned a nest was in the attic. The technician(Jake) arrived and did a thorough inspection of the roof , fascia etc. He then went thru the attic carefully . He clearly explained his findings provided recommendations and solution. No raccoons were found . He then repaired the roof . A great job ! Jake was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Also all COVID protocols were observed. Highly recommend Gates .

    Racoon Damage

    I noticed a piece of soffit missing on roof over portico when I thought I heard something when I came out of the garage which caused me to look up. Fearing what could be in there I called Gates' Wildlife Control. A very nice lady made an appointment and on that day Nick came. He was very kind and professional and answered my many questions. He looked up into the area and said it was for sure a racoon that would have had the strength to do that. He could not see any evidence. He went into the attic and checked it for any evidence of babies. He then put in a one way door which he removed a couple of days later. While he was here and to allay my fears we also had him cover numerous vents so as to prevent any birds from getting in . While there was no evidence of racoons making their home up there one had cased the area out. Nick replaced the soffit and covered the area with galvanized steel. It is very neat looking and now we feel secure. Many thanks Gates Wildlife and Nick. We are thankful and completely satisfied with the work.

    Prompt service, professional, on budget

    We had a raccoon break through an old attic window (that had been damaged by a windstorm) on the third floor. We had three companies quote, mostly based on reviews, and AAA Gates was reasonable and able to complete same day (another quote was way higher, another slightly less, but quoted without visit). Raccoon and babies were removed, Mom picked up the babies from a heated box, attic was closed up. Very satisfied, would definitely recommend.

    Retrieval of my deceased pet

    I called AAA gates animal control in desperation to retrieve the body of my domestic deceased pet. After calling countless private animal control services, AAA got back to me right away. They were understanding, thoughtful, and offered service within a few hours. I’ll never forget the team’s kindness and providing me comfort in a situation that isn’t common for them. I highly recommend them for any professional and humane animal control needs.

    Chimney inspection and squirrel removal

    I had a very determined mother squirrel that was making a nest in my chimney - now just hot water heater vent. So happy to have found Gates listed on Toronto Wildlife Rescue website. Friendly from first phone call. Jake came out on the most miserable of days - cold and raining - he was friendly and informative, and got to figuring out what would be needed right away. Fortunately, the squirrel had not had any babies yet, so Jake cleared out what he could from the liner, and screened it off until i could get a new vent top installed. What a relief. Anyway, very friendly, informative and helpful. I would certainly be confident in referring the company to anyone who asked me. And, while i hope i don’t have any more issues, won’t hesitate to call them again.

    Raccoon removal

    Nick came the morning after I called complaining about an attic intruder. Nick is personable and knowledgeable and got right to work assessing the house exterior and the attic. After finding evidence of a raccoon intruder he closed up the entry points and set up a one-way door baited with a peanut butter treat. He asked me to listen for the sound of babies and to report if I heard any. Two days later, Nick returned to check the one-way door which has a trigger showing it had been used. Yay! I am not hearing any more attic tenants! I hope my raccoon friend finds a new home in the conservation area across the street. Thanks Nick for providing a humane method to evict my furry friend.
