The actual plumbing service was fantastic. The plumber was prompt, courteous and professional. Our broken instant hot water dispenser tank was replaced. The problem started when I received my bill. I was charged $869.53 for a part I purchased for approx $270 three years ago. I knew there had to be something wrong with the price. But to be sure the tank had not actually tripled in price, I googled the part and indeed, the price had not tripled. So I called A-1 to say there must be an error as the price I was charged for the tank seemed ridiculously high. The very ignorant person who took my call sarcastically said "Well, that's your opinion". Turns out A-1 tried to charge me for a hot water dispenser I never got replaced. The tank itself was only $388.77!! A-1 tried to overcharge me by $500!! It was a complete hassle dealing with A-1. The person in charge of my account kept quoting the wrong price for the part so I finally had to call the supplier myself and put Jose in touch with him. I will be recommending to my friends NEVER to use A-1. If you use them, CHECK YOUR BILL.

Marty came in to source out the problem and gave us an estimate of $5000 for our perimeter drainage. However, he needed his supervisor to confirm the estimate. Marty suggested we dig up a trench to cut down on labour cost (which we did). We did not hear back from A-1 drainage for over two weeks and then gave us an quote of $11, 000 the job which was almost double the original estimate. Obviously that was something we did not expect and declined their service. But they charged $650 for the "service" call! Not exactly great service if you ask me!

Asked them to source a water leak in my rental, they could not find it, they charged me anyway. Another firm came in the next day and took the front plate off the dishwasher and found it in 5 min, turns out he used to work for them. Oddly enough he know the guy and knoew he is not a ticketed plumber. Should be Z99 not A1, dont bother go somewhere else!!!

We had a bathtub overflow, and we called A-1 Drainage. Their communication is very professional and caring. They come at the time promised, and make sure all the problem was resolved. We are very impressed with the overall work and we will recommend them to our friends.

James was a solid handy man that got the job fast and neat! He showed up on time and was trusted with the keys. I thought he was professional and gave me striaght up awnsers.

They were hardworking and dependable. They showed up on time. They explained what they were doing in laymans terms such that I could understand. I'd highly recommend them. It happened on a Saturday night and they showed up!

I used A-1 Drainage for my bathroom renovation. They did an excellent job, were very professional (on time, friendly and efficient) and didn't over charge. I recommend to anyone without hesitation.

So one day , ive noticed that my heater was broken...no wonder why it was soo cold. Anyways ive called A-1 They said they could fix the entire heating system at quite a reasonable price. Very satisfied of their work well done.

The guy - Ted - was friendly, helpful, accurate, and made a considerable effort to save me money. The invoice was nice and clear and his referal to a cleaning service was good, too.
