    Chimney Cleaning & Lock Top Install

    I had A1 Quality Chimney do a chimney cleaning and inspection. We had draft issues and they recommended installing a Chimney Lock Top, which they did on a separate visit once we confirmed. The individuals were professional and the cleaning quote was well priced compared to others. This work was done back in 2021, and I'm only writing the review now after going through old records.

    Clean or Inspect Chimney and Fireplace
    Excellent service. Called right away by the company to set up an appointment. Very professional and affordable. We were impressed. Company was recommended by others in our community and we could see why

    Impressive service

    Fast responsive. The service guy just came to our house for inspecting and cleaning the chimney within a hour after A1 contacted me. The guy is very polite, gentle and patient. He does not only give me advice how to deal with our issue in the future, but also, incredibly, cleaned up the dust and dirt that were left behind for weeks under the couch near the fireplace. Strongly recommend their 5 stars services.

    Remove and replace stainless-steel chimney.

    Our steel chimney (30+ years old) was damaged and deteriorating. We called a few contractors in the GTA. Owen from A-1 Quality provided a competitive quote and noted the reason why our chimney had issues (roofer reinstalled a brace incorrectly). In the quote, Owen provided a WSIB clearance certificate, proof of insurance and his WETT credentials. Owen also walked us through any issues that could arise (ie risk of damage to steel piping that would not be visible until the chimney on the exterior was removed). Shortly after we agreed to the quote, Owen booked an install date. On the date, he arrived as planned and removed/replaced the old chimney the same day. Aside from the professionalism and excellent work, the attention to detail was beyond any expectation (e.g. placing a blanket on the driveway, under the work area, to collect any debris, dirt etc, wiping down the entire stainless-steel chimney to remove any handprints and smudges, demonstrating the best way to build a fire etc...). Friendly, professional and above and beyond our expectations. Highly recommend A1 Quality Chimney Cleaning and Repair!!

    chimney repair

    I have our chimney cleaned yearly by A1 Chimney but this time around I noticed a need to repair my chimney. It was done very well. Would recommend.

    Fast Chimney Repair

    My chimney was damaged. A1 Quality Chimney called within a few minutes of my posting the job on home stars. I had an inspection and a reasonable quote within a couple of hours. Work started within 2 days and was completed within three days. Job was performed quickly and efficiently. Workers were professional and the owners were nice, reasonable people, easy to work with and very competent. I can't say enough good things about this company. You get quality work, performed on time and for a reasonable price. This is the company you want to pick to do your job.

    Chimney capping

    Prompt, courteous service. Technician explained the options on site clearly. Work cost was exactly as quoted. Highly recommend.

    Fireplace with insert Chimney Inspection And Cleaning

    After calling service was booked within a week, the technician who arrived was well prepared, was able to answer my questions re safety and other features of the fireplace insert that was in the house (fist time dealing with a wood burning insert). I was very happy with the service and will be booking them again for the yearly cleaning next season.
