We were advised to fix our 22 year old dishwasher, which we agreed with. Paid for a new motor but did not fix the problem. Now, they want to replace it with a $1200 machine, which we would have to buy from them to get free installation. Otherwise we still have to pay for installation. Essentially, wasted the price of a new machine. Furthermore, they did not show up when they said they would. One of their visits was a Friday at 6 pm while we had guests over.

Repair completed but quoted price was crazy high. Needed the appliance so had no choice. Will not use again.

Absolutely appalling service from Accufix. They have the audacity to charge a whopping $120 to just check stuff!!!! The technician, Richard, COULDNT even bother to ARRIVE ON TIME, showing a complete lack of respect for my schedule. I've heard rumors about the POOR TREATMENT of their EMPLOYEES, which seems all too believable given their GREEDY pricing strategies. The service provided was abysmal, and dealing with their company has been nothing short of infuriating. This is a greedy, overpriced business with no sense of professional integrity. Save your money and your sanity - steer clear of Accufix and go with a service that actually values you!!!!

Accufix has been my go to place for more than 20. They have been great for all my needs for parts and for used appliances. I bought fridges, stove washer Dryers. Though they no longer sell appliances they still are by favorite place for parts and service.

I call Accufix Appliance Repair about an issue with the large burner on my stove overheating. Richard from Accufix Appliance Repair identified the problem quickly, explained that a part would need to be ordered and a return visit scheduled for the installation. He outlined what the costs would be and explained his parts and labour warranty. Richard kept me informed on the timing for the part delivery and scheduled a convenient time for the repair. This is the second time I've used Accufix Appliance Repair and have been extremely happy with the service I received. Friendly, knowledgable and efficient technicians. quality work and fair pricing. Highly recommend them!

Called for a washing machine that wasn't draining. Told them the drain pump seemed to not be working. When they showed up over an hour late past the 2 hour window they looked at the machine and questioned how I knew it was the drain pump. I was asked to identify where the pump was and I told them where it was as the machine was left open and pulled out for them to assess. Even upon entry they looked at the machine opened up and joked, "you did the work for us". Apparently they weren't joking - I literally did. After 30 minutes I was told the drain pump was shot. Great, surely you have one you can install I said. I was told it would have to be ordered. I said as long as it's not a $500 fix I would be willing to do it. I was instantly quoted $425 and when I expressed surprise I was told, "well it's less than the $500 you said you wanted". I told them I have seen the part online for ~$60. They didn't believe me. I told them where I had seen it and they insisted it would cost double that. I told them I expected that but didn't understand the $425. I was then told that the service call was $99 one way or another - whether I went with them or another company I was going to be invoiced $99 on top of getting it fixed. So the total charge from Accufix would have been $524 plus tax ($592.12) to fix the machine. I got multiple quotes from other companies who all quoted me at half the price. I wanted to support local but I'll never use Accufix ever again. Buyer beware, I'm out $99 but you don't have to be if you never use these guys.

Arranging appointment was a breeze. Technician came right on time. He explained pros and cons of repair vs purchase. I decided to purchase a new washing machine through Accufix as price was comparable and it saved a lot of time researching compatible model etc. They installed new machine (arrived on time again) on bottom of stackable unit, took away old one and tested. - on time again. Courteous, efficient service. I was very pleased with the whole experience. Loved the time saved! Also appreciate dealing with local merchants - they are smaller businesses that care. Also you can cut through dealing with all sorts of people or call centres. Note that I listed cost as approx. price of service call (not including new washing machine!) Thanks to Amanda at store/office, Richard and Raoul for on-site service. Would definitely recommend.

We have a15 year-old stove with an electric oven and gas cooktop. The stone counter is custom built around it and replacing the stove would have been very costly. Accufix tested the stove and ordered a new control panel. Two repairmen moved the stove and began work. When they opened the new part, they discovered it was missing a mounting. They did not charge for the call but returned the next day with the mounting and worked into the evening on a complicated installation. The labour fee was 199.00 and the service was excellent. I received a fully detailed invoice. I would use Accufix again.
