When customers contact us we asked specifically the issue, we repair cracks in poured concrete foundations, this customer said he had a crack in his foundation. We performed our repairs to the single visible crack. I was contacted when water came in from the same area. I set up a time for our technician to come by and asked the customer to run the water prior to the appointment, which he did not do until my employee arrived. Upon running the water from the outside no water entered through the foundation. I then received a call from the customer saying he found several other cracks and he had contacted another company and I asked him to contact me after that meeting. I then received an email from this customer describing what was visible after the excavation and a request for a refund. I agreed to the requested $300.00 refund. This is a highly unusual situation in terms of a "large circular weakness" in the foundation, I have never come across such a situation in all my decades of construction experience. We have and continue to offer our customers excellent service and a permanent solution to poured concrete foundation cracks.
