    Pest Control

    We had Aetna in to pre-treat a house that we were "gut-renovating". Money well spent when you can treat the actual soil before putting a new basement floor in. They showed up on time, were courteous, and did a great job! Thanks Richard!!

    Termite Control

    I am a resident of Cabbagetown in Toronto. When we purchased our house in 1987, it had already been treated for termites by Aetna Pest Control. We had the opportunity to maintain Aetna's guarantee and we decided to do that and pay for the guarantee on an annual basis, which we have done for the past 27 years. It was the best decision we could have made. We couldn't be happier with Aetna's service. Each and every time we have had a question or a concern about termites, we have phoned Aetna and Aetna's friendly and professional staff have always been patient with us and have calmly provided expert advice. Over the years we have done landscaping and renovations, and every time we have carried out any work which may have had the effect of compromising the pest control treatment, Aetna was only too happy to come to our house on a timely basis, on short notice on some occasions, to re-treat areas that our work had disturbed to ensure that we were protected at all times. Aetna has made us feel that our house and its protection are as important to them as it is to us. Richard Murphy, the owner of Aetna, has always taken special care to ensure that we feel valued as a client of Aetna. As a result, we certainly do feel that way. I couldn't recommend Aetna more highly.

    Treating termites

    This is a top-notch organization. They are maintaining a treatment warranty that was transferred when we recently purchased this home. It had been treated with a repellent last year that deters but didn't actually kill the termites During inspection they found a little bit of activity and educated us on what to look for and arranged to take care of it right away. Now that they're using Altriset (I think it's called) they will DIE rather move next door. I'm still waiting to see if this stuff actually lives up to its promise, but am confident that they'll help us tackle any other problem areas if they arise down the road. Fingers crossed! If you are looking for termite control - these are the people.

    carpenter ants, termite protection

    We live in a termite and carpenter ant neighbourhood. Hussain Kathrada has worked diligently with us each year since we bought 8 years ago. He is thorough, respectful and informative and exceeds the industry standard of care. His information today was extremely important as we are beginning a large rebuild and we have justifiable concerns about past [and present] ant and termite activity in neighbouring lots especially as the new excavation areas for an expanded basement could provide new opportunities for carpenter ant and termite infestation. It is always a a pleasant surprise when someone in the service industries exceeds your already high expectations. Hussain has done that each and every year. Richard Murphy an owner of Aetna has been pro-active in in these field[s] especially in regard to research and government policy around effective and safe termite products. Last month, Aetna provided a thorough orientation to our general contractor to assure that no new problems arise as we move this project forward. This is a highly competent and credible company with knowledge and advice that seems to exceed the norm.

    Pest Fumigation

    Beyond fabulous customer service from Aetna. They were onsite to perform a termite inspection and spray for small pests at my new house. They were courteous, professional and took care in inspecting all areas of the house (inside & outside). Hussein was very helpful in explaining areas of the house I should be wary of. Excellent company with solid service.

    Termite control

    This company is above the norm, Right from the top to all of the employees. They far exceeded our expectations We highly recommend them to anyone. Call them first you will not be disappointed.

    carpenter ant work

    Hussein from Aetna has been spraying my home for about 6 years. I have referred him to a few of my friends because he's wonderful. He's patient, answers all your questions, thorough and consciensious. He's even gone into my attic to see if there were any signs of ant activity. I would highly recommend Hussein for all your pest problems. I ask for him every year.

    termite treatment

    Aetna has been a terrific company to deal with. Obviously, if you have a termite issuse in your neighbourhood and in your house, that is not a happy thing, but I feel we have been in good hands with Aetna. In addition to treating the house, they were available for advice as we removed wood to soil contact and when we had renovations done. When it became apparent that the only chemical approved for use in Canada was not terribly effective, so that multiple treatments were needed, Aetna was great about coming back to do that promptly and as needed. Aetna has also been very proactive in working with government towards getting a new, more effective products approved in Canada, and in keeping us informed about that process. Whenever they have come to the house, they have been on time, and they do the work in a neat and tidy way. Dealing with Aetna has taken the worry out of addressing this problem.

    Professional pest control technicians

    I’m a real estate agent and they are the only company that I ever call. They are the experts in their field. Not only are they the best at what they do but they are approachable, personable, reliable and up front. Dick and Rich are the owners and they are great with our clients too. I don’t have one bad thing to say about them.

    Professional pest control technicians

    They treated under our foundation in our basement and then later, when the ground thawed, the soil around the outside of our house Everything was done really well. The installers were very tidy and professional. We were happy with them. A few years ago we had another company come in and they did a really, really bad job so we were very happy with Aetna. All the staff at Aetna have been very knowledgeable and helpful.
