IF YOU NEED CARPET, I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. THEY GAVE THE BEST PRICING FROM MY SEARCHING AROUND. THEY HAD GOOD HELP AND THE PEOPLE WHO INSTALLED THE CARPET DID A GOOD JOB. THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS.

Great company. Friendly service. Gave honest advice and were very understanding. I would really recommend this company. It is a husband and wife team and they offer big company efficiency with family business attention to detail. Very knowledgeable of the industry. Good pricing as well!! Thanks

We bought a condo and were in a hurry to move because our cat was sick and couldn't handle stairs anymore. Susan was very sympathetic and rushed to have the old broadloom taken out and lovely engineered wood flooring put in. She made everything easy and at a great price.

"We had hoped to have laminate installed in the three remaining carpeted rooms on our arrival from Ottawa, before our furniture was delivered to the condominium. We had just two days to spare. We selected a company and on the morning that they were to install the contractor called to say that he had to go to the dentist and would try to come later. We lost all confidence in this company. We were desperate and went on to the Internet to see if we could find someone who could get us out of a difficult situation. Fortunately we picked Alliance and asked Lehel if he could help. That same afternoon he had a worker come to measure the area.We understand that the supplier, who had the pattern that we wanted, had actually closed for the day and the worker insisted on having the store opened to meet our needs. The next day his contractor started and continued until the work was finished. The work was first class and we were in good shape to receive our furniture. It is apparent that the flooring business has many untrustworthy companies, fortunately we found Alliance and Lehel. AW

As an Interior Decorator of high-end condominiums, I am very pleased with the workmanship & service I received for a large condo renovation at the Palace Pier. Lehel, Susan, & Tina are very professional and knowledgeable. Their staff were courteous & respected the Condominium's Rules & Regulations with ease. Concerns were addressed immediately and my clients are thrilled with the end results. I will continue to enlist the services of Alliance for future projects.

The mark of a good company is how they respond when there's a problem. After our bamboo kitchen floor was laid, it was apparent that one mis-matched batch had been sent/used in error. Though it took a couple of weeks to sort it out, the folks at Alliance (and our hardworking installer, Mohammed) soon made it right. We're very pleased with our new floor and the service we received, and we've already recommended the company to several friends. (It must also be noted that Susan is a delight to work with: friendly, professional, knowledgeable and not a bit pushy!)

Found Alliance flooring highly recommended on homestars and redflagdeals forums. I called around 5 places and the best price quoted and most knowledgable replies were from Alliance. Lehel showed up on time to do my quote and was very detailed in his estimates and measurements. On the day of the refinishing work, Lazlo was also very friendly and showed me all options to re-staining the floor. Floors were done beautifully and on time as promised. My friend who is a part-time contractor even commented on how nice the floor looked (he offered to do it cheaper but that was after I had found Lehel and put a deposit down). I was also able to save a bit of money too, since I didn't use any stain and went with a natural look and did varnish only. They were nice enough to credit me some money back as well. Only draw back is they can't take credit card over phone (must physically bring card into their store) but at least you can see some of the samples and paint stains. I would definitely use them again or recommend my friends to them. PS - I realized that Lazlo had put 3 large garbage bags full of sawdust and some large tins of chemicals. But when the garbage guys came around, they literally ripped open each garbage bag to take a look and decided not to take any of it away. I'll have to call to remind Lehel that they should be taking away that garbage as well, rather than leaving it to the customer to dispose of, since the City of Toronto now does not take away renovation garbage.

We recently renovated our house,we laid down new harwood floor.We heard about Alliance from our friends ,they hihgly recommended them!We were happy with the price,the service what they've affored to us!!!Thank you guys,you're awsome!!!

Alliance is great for floors - both re-finishing and the laying new floors. The Alliance team was punctual and courteous and completed the job in a very tight timeline. Most of all, Lehel and Susan were friendly and easy to deal with - no slick sales pressure at all. The areas that Alliance is less strong are the 'extra' work we had done (including installing new baseboards throughout the house, re-finishing some wood edging / banisters and clean up). This work was not up to the standard of their floors. That said, Lehel did get bring his people out again to try to undertake the repairs. All in all, if you want friendly service and beautiful floors we would recommend Alliance. If additional work is required beyond the excellent flooring skills, use a bit of caution.
