During a storm a couple weeks ago I had a massive leak. Josh came in with an honest quote. He was very knowledgable and got his crew in extremely fast to help us from future leaks. Thanks Josh and Mike for having such great crews. Dave Very happy customer

I met Mike some years ago when my condominium complex was experiencing significant roof issues and highly questionable service from another roofing company. He personally walked me through the issues, explained in detail what needed to be done, and helped the corporation overcome the many challenges at the time, even though it cost his corporation problems and challenges within his own industry as the other roofing company lashed out in anger. Since then he has taken care of our roof issues and has provided competitive pricing and exceptional service. If I could rate higher than 10 if I could.

They replaced my roof in 2013. I had a leak around a vent stack September 2019. Within 2 days they came with the right colour shingles and fixed the problem - under warranty. They stand behind their work & Their customer service is fabulous

Better Contracting provides service with integrity. I have dealt with many contractors and this company is by far, one of the best. Mike and his team work honestly and their workmanship is excellent. They use high quality materials and they do not take short cuts. They get the job done the proper and correct way. I am extremely satisfied with this company and I highly recommend Better Contracting.

We had a contact with 'Better Contacting' for a slate style metal roof with some soffit, fascia and capping. We found them to be extremely disappointing, irresonsible and the job is still not finished. We were told by Josh during the estimate on Feb 19th that this entire job would be completed within a two month timeframe and that the metal roofing, soffit/fascia and capping we requested would all be finished all together. The metal Soffit, Fascia and capping was of utmost importance to us and has still not yet been started (currently 4+ months later). We signed on and sent the first payment for them to buy materials on March 14th. The metal shingles were finally installed two and a half months later finishing on May 29th. Upon seeing pictures of the roof we found that the wrong colour had been installed. Josh tried to pass the blame onto the shipping company, and no one at the company took any responsibility. They demanded we pay, even though the full contact was not finished. We reluctantly paid for the roof portion under the promise from Josh that the job would be fully finished the following weekend. Now it has been over a month and I half and I have had at least 5 phone calls and broken promises from Josh and the reception desk that the rest of the job would be finished "the next day" or "over the weekend". The metal Soffit, Fascia and capping was of utmost importance to us and has still not yet been started (currently 4+ months later). Unfortunately this company is deceitful and does not take any responsibility for their mistakes. We may now need to find another contractor to finished the job.

Great experience with Better Contracting!! Mike and team went above and beyond to get the job done on time as promised. Couldn’t be happier with the work done and the way in which it was executed. Would recommend them without a doubt!!

Trying to find an honest roofer seemed impossible until I met Murray from Better Contracting. He was polite, efficient and responsive to my call for help. You don’t know how important your roof is until it leaks into your daughters bedroom and mould begins to form so quickly. Murray came by and gave us a quote with a plan on how to fix things quickly and properly. I will always use these guys again if I ever need another roof. They’re the best.

I can't express how extremely happy I was with the job. Well done gentlemen. My house looks great. I have now referred them to my friends as well. Can't thank Mike enough for making this process very smooth and easy for me. He was efficient and professional and guided me every step of the way.

I can't express enough my gratitude to the Better Contracting team for their professionalism in restoring my roof. They were efficient, hard working crew who take pride in what they do and exceeded my expectations, taking great care of my surrounding property.
