Living in Toronto and building a home in Nova Scotia can be a daunting task. I came to Beverley Binns with a plan for a modern style house which needed the interiors designed to give form and function to the simple rooms. I immediately felt very in tune while consulting with Beverley... the way she listened and then proceeded to incorporate my vision with her creative know-how. She was extremely professional and so competent. Her colour sense, knowledge of materials and textures, and the products she works with ably pulled together a simple, sophisticated clean line that typifies my house. We love it and continually get an amazing response from our friends and family when they visit. My husband loves his closet and the Master Bath Ensuite! The kitchen by Siematic is the "piece de resistance"! Every room is efficient, yet warm and inviting and oh so liveable....this new house was a Home immediately! Thank you Beverley...so much

We have just engaged Binns for our 3rd renovation project. Two years ago, we had our kitchen gutted and redone. It went from a completely inadequate builder's design, to a beautiful functional kitchen (had to keep my husband, the cook, happy). Last year was the main bathroom, now a great bathroom with fashionable and workable fixtures. Our designer, Rick Farrell, designed sleek and functional spaces, and made great suggestions on decor, paint colour, fixtures, etc. Even watched the bottom line by making suggestions about work (such as painting and installing baseboards) that we could easily do. Patrick managed the projects and hats-off to Paul, who renovated the bathroom. So we are on to our 3rd project, the ensuite bathroom. I highly recommend Binns and Rick for kitchens and bathrooms!

Several years ago, Binns Kitchen &Bath Design renovated our kitchen including new counters and kitchen faucet. We have been very happy with the design and also with the quality of the work and the sinks/faucets they recommended. Recently the hand held showerhead on the faucet developed a leak and I contacted Ray Binns. Ray made a few calls and got back to me a couple of hours later. He had arranged for the supplier to provide a new showerhead replacement which was shipped the next day at no cost to me. Another example of the excellent customer service we have always enjoyed in our dealings with Binns Kitchen and Bath Design.

This is the 2nd time we are using Binns. We first used Binns in 2007. The quality of their work is excellent. Binns stood by their work even years after the completion of the project, Binns was there to do touch ups or a quick repair anytime we called them. Our project manager, Patrick and the trades accommodated our every whim. Our current renovation was a huge one and yes there were challenges but Binns was reassuring every step of the way and our renovation was completed on schedule. The end product is a thing of beauty and worth every penny. We’ve had friends say to us that they have never seen anything like it. Our designer Jackie was a joy to work with. There were times when we would choose a design element or product but if she felt it would not be a good fit for the overall space, she would let us know and would show us an alternate design or product. She was vigilant with the design and made sure it suited our space and our needs. Yes, I would recommend Binns Kitchen and Bath in a heart beat

I approached Binns 2 years ago to do a Bathroom reno with a clearly defined budget and I made it clear I was a very busy person. I indicated clear broad outlines for a very small space. In these 2years they have twice produced a budget double mine, wasted countless hours, been incredibly inefficient and the quality of the work to date shoddy beyond belief. Misleading statements and a complete lack of good faith have been demonstrated. Under no circumstances can I recommend them

We asked Binns to help us remodel our kitchen and redo the floors on our ground floor. They were very knowledgeable, professional and thorough. It was a very big job for us to live through. It took approximately 3 months to complete. They planned the job out very well and did everything they said they would. The materials are high quality as is the work. Shaun did an excellent job on the design as did Patrick on managing the installation. All the tradesman involved were well qualified and answered any questions we had. The cost is significant but worth it. Binns is a full service company. They really take care of everything. Since the kitchen was completed, we have had Binns do some lighting work for us which was also very well planned and executed.

I contracted Shaun Binns of Binns Kitchen and Bath Design to design and install a kitchen in a new home in-law-suite. His design took into consideration all of my requests and more. His design far exceeded my expectations. The area where the kitchen is installed has a much smaller square footage than the home I left, yet there is far more storage, and much better planned storage as well. Shaun Binns walked me through the entire process right from the start, made great suggestions which we did put in place and now appreciate more than I had anticipated. His customer service was excellent which I am sure reflects the kind of service anyone can expect from Binns Kitchen and Bath design. My kitchen was delivered and installed exactly when promised, and at the cost that was quoted. Shaun was onsite to oversee the installation, arranged for other trades and was onsite to ensure that work was done as planned. Shaun was always available to answer any questions I had, and visited to demonstrate and explain some of the great features of the cabinetry. The cabinets are of excellent quality, beautiful to look at, and installed to perfection. My experience was a pleasurable one from beginning to end and I would highly recommend Shaun Binns, and Binns Kitchen and Bath Design

We recently completed a major reno of both bathrooms. In the case of the ensuite, we expanded into an adjacent walkin closet. We found Binns after researching many companies. Binns did an outstanding job designing, building, installing. Very professional, and their contractor's attention to detail is top notch. Definitely a case of "doing it right the first time". The design of the bathrooms (and the ensuite in particular) is incredible. Not only is the design out of this world, it is extremely practical. Binns has the experience to attend to the small details that allow this to happen. Hats off to the entire Binns team including: Anthony (the designer), Patrick (project manager) and Paul (contractor).

The workers do seem to try their best. They finish the job, with a level of effort that I did enjoy. I read a couple bad reviews on various contractors as this one, but I found them to be quite helpful.

The reno began and ended on the dates given. The designer, Rick Farrell, created a beautiful environment which, 6 years later, continues to draw rave revues. The kitchen was gutted and rebuilt "from the ground up". Inconvenience was minimal; all Binns employees and subcontractors were thoroughly professional. After hearing so many horror stories about renos gone wrong, we were beyond thrilled with not only the finished "product" but also with the total experience. Especially worthy of note are Rick Farrell, the installer ,Wally, and the project coordinator, Patrick Farrell, who continues to provide outstanding service whenever small tweaks are needed.
