Short and to the point: We had our 28 year old kitchen and main floor transformed by Brandom Kitchens in 2023 and can thankfully and happily say their whole team did a great job from the initial consultation through to completion and aftercare, on time and within budget. A little more detail... Right from the moment we walked in the front door and Office Manager Cheryl set us up with one of their designers, Shana; a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer, we felt very relaxed and comfortable. During our conversation with Shana, we just clicked and knew she was the right person for the job. She showed us through their extensive warehouse of finishes and materials and gave us a thorough explanation of their processes and what we could expect if we chose to hire Brandom. We left the showroom with a bunch of ideas and thought about our options. We wanted everything on the main floor redone from popcorn ceiling removal to all new flooring and cabinetry. After living in this house for 21 years we want to head into retirement years in our home but make it work and flow better. We decided to go for it and gave the retainer for a design plan. From there they looked after everything, arranging permits and hauling away the debris. Our house has the staircase in the middle the main floor and it made for a challenge to use the square footage to it best potential. Shana did a great job tracking the details and I can confirm there is a lot to consider when you are doing a once in a lifetime renovation. Each time we went to the showroom we felt welcome and valued as clients. After several meetings to select all the fixtures right down to the drawer pulls, we firmed up a date to start construction and began to look forward to having everything done. The installer for our project was Dan, a veteran carpenter with what seemed like about 100 years experience. He came in to assess our house and what could be done with it. Next came structural engineering reports to make sure the load bearing walls were properly replaced and supported. Shana's design removed one wall completely and took a six foot opening and widened it to almost ten feet, showcasing the lower part of our staircase and the rest of the new design. She also suggested removing the old bulkheads and wrapping the counter along one wall because we didn't have enough room for an island because of the stairs being in the center of the house. The end result of Shana's Design and Dan's carpentry skills makes much better use of the existing space. It was obvious from the beginning that they worked very well together. We did the majority of the tear out ourselves with the help of a couple friends and Dan rolled in the driveway, right on time. He and his helper Joe worked pretty much every day until at least 4, sometimes even later but they were mindful that we were living in the house during the work. One thing that concerned us before hiring anyone for this kind of job was that they would start things and then be hard to find or reach on the phone. That was not the case as Shana was in pretty regular contact us and available if we called her, and I saw Dan every day. Brandom supplied and installed all new LVP flooring across the entire main floor, custom cabinetry, stone countertops, fancy faucets and sinks. We sourced our some of our own light fixtures and other items for the reno and had them on hand for the trades Brandom had hired to do the installs. When the cabinets arrived both Dan and Joe commented on how well packaged everything was for transport from. Once in place they turned out even nicer than we had even hoped for. Dan finished up right on schedule but there are always things that need aftercare and though he moved on to the next job he stayed in contact to make sure he was free to do the finishing touches when the time came. Anytime you decide to undertake a big job like this you have to expect a few hiccups along the way and this job was no different. We had a few problems but it is how Dan, Shana, and the rest of the team responded to them that made us happy we chose Brandom. This has exceeded our expectations and we cant believe how beautiful our home is and now we are confident knowing our main floor is ready for us in the next stage of life. Overall, we would suggest to anyone in the market for a beautiful full service home renovation go to Brandom and take a look around. You might be closer to your dreams than you think!

We went to the showroom to look for a new shower we felt very comfortable with all the displays and the service with Cathryns help From the first day of the Reno the contractor Eric was on time to start made sure everything was covered and protected the work was very professional and neat each day when he was done the whole Reno was completed in one week and two days and it looks awesome we are very happy with all and recommend Brandom for your bathroom Renos

Bathroom materials We sourced over $15000 of materials from Brandom Kitchen and Bath Design. In return we received melamine pressboard with manufacturer defects, an incorrect sized cabinet and missing parts. Brandom measured and delivered all of the products sourced through them. These products left their supplier and were delivered to Brandom with issues. These products left Brandoms showroom/ warehouse with issues. These products were delivered to our home with issues. The shipping packaging was a joke. When we asked for a refund New Owner/ New President/ New CEO demanded we sign a non disclosure agreement or enjoy your purchases. These were the New President/ Owners only two options to us in his email. New ownership is News to us. Our experience with Brandom Kitchen and Bath and the new owner has been totally unacceptable. Their excuse was their suppliers let them down in turn letting us down. No Brandom, you let us down. Weve seen similar or better products at big colourful box stores with better prices and hassle free return policies. However post COVID we decided to support a small local business like Brandom Kitchen and Bath Design (BKBD). Never again. We will never endorse this company or its products. Brandom Kitchen did a complete kitchen remodel for us July 2023. Our designer Cathryne did an amazing job guiding us through the design process in order to maximize the space and storage in our kitchen. Our installer Dan is a truly professional tradesperson who will only settle for perfection. Everybody we dealt with at Brandom Kitchen and Bath helped to make our experience a pleasant one. The job was completed on time, and on budget as promised. We had the ugliest basement bathroom in our house (we had bought the house years prior). We always kept the door shut because it was so hideous. Shana one of Brandons designers worked with us and came in under budget for the bathroom renovation . We are so happy to have a nice bathroom in the basement beside our exercise room and sauna. No need to run upstairs to use bathroom anymore!

I first visited the showroom last year and wow was I ever impressed. There is so much to choose from. The staff is fabulous at answering questions and getting an understanding of what look you want. They also gave me free range allowing me uninterrupted time to look and process all the different options. You might go in here with a vision and then they give suggestions to make it SO much better.

From the time I spoke to a sales person to the last day of renovations they were welcoming, resourceful, creative, funny. They had ideas I had t even thought off. My kitchen is now the Chefs kitchen Ive dreamed about. Cooking has a whole new feeling in my house. Brandom was on time and they kept their commitments. The workmanship is pure craft. Thank you.

I had both of my bathrooms completely renovated, it took about 5 weeks and turned out absolutely beautiful. Our installer was knowledgeable, quick and always kept his space clean. My whole family is delighted with both of these bathrooms. I will definitely use Brandom for my kitchen renovation coming up soon

We contracted Brandom Kitchen and Bath in Courtice June of 2022 to renovate a bathroom and adjoining closets. This involved removing bathtub, vanity, drywall and bulkhead over the tub and removing the bathroom door and wall to the ceiling. This was to open up a very small ensuite bathroom. The bathroom door became a pocket door was moved out to the outside of the closets so they are part of the bathroom. New shower and vanity faucets, folding closet doors, vinyl flooring, ceramic tile in shower area along with new LED lighting and shower fan with timer were installed. Very happy with material suggested and the work which was done with almost 100% time devoted to the job until it was completed within budget. Would recommend to anyone. Great job John, Tony, Cathryne
