I needed to relocate the taps for the water supply to my new washing machine as the location had changed as a result of a renovation.The work included removing the existing taps connected to a 3/4" supply within an existing wall and installing a short length of copper pipe and a coupling. Flavio needed to heat up the piping sufficiently to remove the fittings and restore the pipes without damaging the adjacent 2 x 4 stud, vapour barrier and surrounding drywall. This was delicate work which he completed without any damage to the materials within the wall. Flavio and Matt showed up on the day and time as promised. Carried out the work in a couple of hours and cleaned up before leaving for their next job. Their price was fair and there was no doubt they knew what they were doing.

Flavio came to our assistance when another co. wanted to charge us $997.00 plus tax to replace valve on water meter. They wanted a downpayment of $399 right away. On checking valve Flavio found it just needed to be tightened. He replaced kitchen taps for us and even threw in a new soap dispenser. Both he and his assistant Mathew were great. My husband and I are both senior citizens so his assistance was very much appreciated.

I've used Flavio before and have recommended him to friends. So when we had a problem with the drains in our new house, we knew who to call! He is professional, knowledgeable, has the right tools and is such a nice guy! Other contractors were happy enough to tell us that the water was coming from the foundation and it would cost us $15,000 to repair. Flavio took the time to find out what the problem was and saved us from spending lots of money on a fix that wouldn't have solved the problem!

My toilet would no longer fill its tank. I chose Canada Wide based on Home Star reviews and they didn't disappoint. The guys came out within an hour or so and knew exactly what the problem was. Excellent.

The basement toilet in our 1950's home began leaking two weeks ago and what we thought would be a small fix turned into a larger project! Flavio and Matt were professional experts and my husband and I were more than impressed! While it took two visits, some sawing through our slate floor to even the toilet - we couldn't be happier with the results! The toilet is even better than it was when we bought the house 2 years ago! We just bought a very old home and new we had a leaky pipe in the basement prior to moving in. Flavio and Matt were able to identify the issue and replace the cracked pipe without having to break open the floor, etc. Thank you for giving us peace of mind! Our toilet stopped working after my son accidently dropped a toy tug boat into the toilet. Within 24 hours, my toilet was fixed!! Flavio and his apprentice provided excellent service. Within minutes the toilet was removed, turned upside down and the toy was located and removed. I accidentally broke the pipe from the shower head to the pipe behind the tile wall of the enclosure. Flavio managed to fix the pipe without having to cut through dry wall or removing the tile wall. He was polite, neat and very competent and saved me from what could have been a very expensive repair. I highly recommend him and Canada Wide plumbing.

We ended up having to renovate our (only) bathroom after just moving into our 'new' old home. It had just been renovated by the previous owner however we were quick to learn that there were many issues with the bathtub/shower area. Flavio was able to help us on short notice, made some great recommendations (moving plumbing etc.) and installed a new bathtub for us. He was professional, efficient and a clean worker! Thanks again!
