This is a long overdue review! It’s been almost two years since we worked on refacing my kitchen cupboards in my house in Bloor West Village, and I just wanted to tell how much I’ve love my kitchen! I get so many compliments about the work that Canlik did. The kitchen looks absolutely fabulous and it turned out even better than I thought it would! Working with Victor and everyone at Canlik was a pleasure, and I was super-impressed with the attention to detail and professionalism that the installers had in completing the project. It was one of the BEST renovation experiences I’ve ever had, and I am happily telling everyone about Canlik and the fine work they do. My sister and I did end up filming a couple of interviews in my new kitchen and the white cabinets and counter top looked great on TV (Food Network Canada). I am happy to share my very positive experience with Canlik Kitchens. Pauline and Gloria were excellent in assisting me laying out and defining the project. They kept in close contact throughout the project and were very prompt in responding to any of my questions and concerns. The crews that came to measure and to install my new doors and granite countertop were very couteous, respectful of my home and excellent at their jobs. I was a bit skeptical in thinking that the new doors going on the old original boxes could not possibly look as good as the original in terms of the match and fit. The installation crew did a fabulous job in making sure everything was lined up to perfection and all lines were clean and straight..they were patient in fiddling with all the measurements till the fit was perfect. I am very glad I decided to resurface instead of getting a complete renovation as I saved quite a bundle and the results are just the same as a completely brand new kitchen. We were very pleased with the work done by Canlik Kitchens. They provided us with a detailed quotation, and were prompt in responding to all our questions before the start of the project. They even gave us a list of insructions on how to prepare the kitchen prior to the workers arriving. The workers arrived promptly on the start date scheduled, and did so every day following, till the work was done. Canlik followed up after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied. Our thanks to all the Canlik staff, and particularly Gloria, Madeleine, Victor and the two installers for their competence, reliability and professionalism.

Discovered this company through National Home Show. Their estimate was better than another I received from a major company. The work was done in two days, and my kitchen looks fabulous. The worker Michael was excellent, very polite and pleasant.

We moved into an old home with a kitchen that had been done about15 years ago. The cabinet boxes and drawers were in good shape but the style was very outdated and there was some shotty craftsmanship. We learned from a friend about kitchen refacing and read about Canlik Kitchens through HomeStars. Impressed with what we read, we met with a sales associate at their main office and were shown a wide variety of options for every aspect of the kitchen. This included cabinet refacing, adding additional open cabinets, building a pantry, and installing a new kitchen counter and sink/faucet. They worked with us to meet our budget were very responsive on emails and phone calls. I had no reason to worry throughout the entire process - from concept to actualization - as each contractor was very experienced in this line of work. The cabinet installers were skilled and professional, as were the counter installers and the plumber that had been contracted through Canlik. Lastly, Canlik had no issue touching up some minor details before they considered the job complete. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy at the end of the process. We would recommend Canlik to anyone seeking a more affordable kitchen upgrade.

I have been using Canlik's services since 2000. The latest project was a solid maple kitchen island which I designed myself with suggestions from Simon. The result was amazing in its finish, precision and quality of construction. Our original project was refacing a tired 1980's kitchen. The result was an incredible transformation. After that I was hooked.

i love the cabinets they refaced for us. They also constructed a unit for a built-in refrigerator and offered design ideas - we love our kitchen. the work was done extremely well. great service, great selection. its been three years since the installation and its was one of the best investments we made. highly recommended.

I would like to preface by saying that I'm an extremely picky person with high standards. I found Canlik Kitchens on Homestars after debating whether to tackle a complete kitchen reno. I hadn't really heard of refacing until I spoke to Canlik in detail. Pauline was gracious and willing to answer, by phone and email, the many questions I had for her. She always ensured to follow up with me. She walked me thru the whole process and if she wasn't sure on something, she would consult with her team and respond back as quickly as possible. Everything was properly documented. From the first viewing of our kitchen, to the refacing job itself (it took about 5 days as our kitchen is much bigger than a standard kitchen), to the after service, etc, the whole experience has been one that I would recommend to everyone. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. We also had some new cabinetry installed - you would never be able to tell it wasn't there before. It all fits in perfectly. We also went with the lamination in the exposed areas and the match is quite good. I believe we're the only ones that know it's a laminate match. The entire crew worked tirelessly to get the job done and there were no cutting corners here. Lots of attention to detail. Lee, one of the installers, has impeccable attention to detail. He truly wants everything to be perfect. Simon was also there to ensure the job was completed in a timely fashion. Good price, great service.... there really wasn't anything more I could ask for. I have had to communicate with them a couple of times after the refacing and Gloria has been quick at getting back on the after sales side. Thanks Canlik... I now have a beautiful kitchen.
