Duct cleaning
Excellent service. We've had our ducts cleaned twice before, but never so thoroughly. For example, no one had ever brought their hoses up to our upper floor before, relying instead on sucking out dirt from the basement end. .
Cost wise they were at the upper end ($285 + HST), but not the most expensive, and worth every red cent. Our home is 1,600 sq. feet including a finished basement. The other quotes we got, all from the top rated companies on Home Stars, were $325, $$225, and $250 (2 companies). This includes cleaning our clothes drier vent. So they were close.
Small touches count. E.g. they took the time to explain everything, before and even as they were doing the work, and didn't rush through the process. Our neighbor was having a yard sale next door, and they walked over (unprompted) to apologise for the noise, angled their truck so that it minimised the disturbance, and handed out complimentary ear plugs to our neighbor and her friends (and us; never been offered that before).
After they left my neighbor asked how they had done and said she had taken their business card. That's how businesses are built.
Paul is the owner of a family owned business and it shows. They took two hours to do a job others had done in half the time. We'll have them back next time for sure.
