I live near East York in a century semi detached house with a flat and peaked roof. Last fall the flat roof was looking very sad. (Had it redone about 16 years - "this is a 30 year roof!!! - It wasn't even close to that. This time I thought I'd give Cherry and Clark a try (radio advertising does work!) Dallel came when he said he would. He asked how many layers on the flat roof? At least 2 I said. He gave me a reasonable quote that included the flat roof, tuck pointing the chimney and new eaves. The crew turned up right on time on Monday and promptly went to work. Bad news - 5 layers of old flat roof! They stripped back to the wood and did extensive repairs on the rotted roof boards and joints. The then added the promised 1.5 inch of board insulation. They then stripped the back peaked roof (5 layers of shingles) added 2 new vents and new shingles. The finish of their work is superb. The seal around the chimney and between my roof and my neighbour's is also superb I would recommend without any reservations!!!!

Work proceeded without any problems following an agreed 3 day delay due to possible chance of rain. Great clean up after the work was completed. Great follow up on two small concerns.

a 40+ year old flat townhouse roof needed redone as some neighbours experienced major problems. Cherry&Clark finished the job on time, left the property clean and immediately responded to any comment or concern that I had. They regularly provided me with updates and also photos of the work in progress and the finished job. The staff was courteous, helpful and addressed my needs. I would recommend them to anybody.

After a windy day in late November we discovered some of our shingles were missing and bare plywood was showing. Our roof had met the end of it's life and we couldn't wait until spring to fix it. Cherry & Clark were quick to come give a quote and once the contract was signed they were at my house in 3 weeks to get the roof done. I give them extra credit for coming out -10 c weather to fix the roof. Anyone in the Cornell area of Markham would be wise to go with Cherry & Clark Roofing to address their roofing issues. They are able to work in tight spaces.

We recently purchased the other half of our semi detatched home and upon inspection realized that the roof was leaking water into one of the bedrooms at an alarming rate. We called Cherry and Clark and Gary came over within the week to inspect the property and offer us a comprehensive quote. He offered to match our existing shingles for us and recommended additional insulation for the flat portion of our roof to save heating costs as well. There was a slight delay in service as our roof was to be completed in two parts and the first team was delayed. I called after 3 weeks and inquired about our position on the waiting list. I spoke to the company VP Reg and explained that every time it rained water was collecting in buckets. He was really helpful and workers were scheduled for the next day. The crew showed up on time and were very nice. It was too windy for them to do work that day, so they had to come back; however, they did mention to Reg that the shingles we had ordered were not an exact match. Reg called me personally to let me know they had the exact shingles from the other side of the roof in stock and was kind enough to switch them for me at no cost. The project was completed in two days. The clean up was thorough and the final product is beautiful. I will call this company any time I have a roofing issue or question, (but it will likely have to wait until I move because this roof isn't going anywhere!).

Evan inspected the roof and quoted the Job while I was at work. We exchanged a few phone calls and emails and agreed to do the project. Reg ( project manager) kept me in the loop with the project schedule start date and weather delays. The foreman was there early each day, the job was done quickly and professionally. I reviewed the completed job and have no complaints. I like the fact I was able to get the job done without having to be onsite to babysit the project. Cherry and Clark were professional and competent and amazing to deal with.

Got a good quote from Dave and a 3 week start date. 1 week later they called and did the job the next day. Excellent work and great cleanup afterwards.

Great company,a bit more expensive but worth the extra cost,had a problem 2 1/2 years after roof was done,they came back fixed the problem ,great warranty service,would highly recommend them.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of service and the project timeline. The crew was very professional and knowledgeable. What impressed me a lot was that they left my property and properties of my neighbors in the original state after the project was completed as if they were never there. I've got a new beautiful roof and peace of mind about quality and reliability of it for the next 50 years. I highly recommend Cherry and Clark for your next roof project.
