Just moved to a house that needed the furnace replaced. Got three quotes, one from an energy company and two from the top Homestar contenders, one being Boris of Cozy World.. All three suggested that we replace the AC unit as well as the furnace, which we were happy to do. Based on similar products and work, the energy company's estimate was significantly higher that the other two, whose estimates were both in the same ballpark. The reason we chose Cozy World for our HVAC replacement was for the most part Boris' approach. He was a soft sell, didn't run down other companies, didn't blow his own trumpet, but simply explained to me what Cozy World could provide, how they would provide it and answered all my questions as to what would be needed. Boris is a straight shooter, tells things how they are, and always seems happy to explain things, without going in to too much technical details. At no time did we feel he was pushing anything on us. Boris encouraged us to put in a system that would meet our needs as oppose to simply buy the top of the range units. This was an aspect of Boris, and Cozy World, that I really appreciated. Added to this the warranty offered by Boris, which comes backed directly by the manufacturer, exceeded the warranty offered by the competing company. When it came to the day of installation, Fred and another installer turned up, asked where the old furnace was located and once shown, set to work. They worked for seven hours straight, did a wonderful job in terms of making a clean and tidy install and left my basement in a better state than when they had arrived. After the new units were installed and working I had a number of follow up questions for Boris, to do with the warranty, OAP rebates and also some questions on the HVAC ducting, which he dealt with immediately. I have no hestition in recommending Boris and the Cozy World team for HVAC installations.

Last year I needed to buy a new furnace for my house, and I decided to give a try to this small company I found in homestars, after having initially gotten a quote from a big name. I am glad I made this choice. Immediately I realized that I was getting a great service and Boris provided me with sufficient information in order to make the right decision for the purchase of the furnace. Let alone that the cost was much lower than the quote I had received from the big name. The installation was very professional, and subsequently Boris followed up with me to make sure that everything was OK. Overall my experience was great. Cozy World is awesome. My furnace installation went perfectly. They also steered me away from installing an HRV. That would have made them more money, but was not right for my needs.

Boris and his team did an excellent job replacing my old furnace and installing central air. Boris spent a lot of time inspecting the house and explaining the options, and his workmen were courteous and did a first class installation. Highly recommended !

Boris and company did an excellent job installing in our 80yr old Leslieville semi. Got 3 quotes, Cozy World and another where pretty much the same, however, Boris was very good with quick email responses and took the time to explain everything to me in detail as we did the walk through without disparaging his competition, which seems to be a tactic other companies use, what a turn off! My father, nearly senior, a construction professional, and living on my street needed a new furance. I needed an air conditioner. We decided for ease to try and find a company that could do both, in a day, in our respective houses. We were simply looking for a straightforward installer, who could provide a clear detailed quote, and install on a convenient schedule. Boris met all of these requirements and made this installation very straightforward, transparent, and punctual. The crew did a clean job and Boris provided excellent pre and post-sales communication. I havent had much chance to try my air conditoner yet as it is still April, my father's furnace is very good and I give Boris credit for recommending this unit. Cozy World is an excellent service provider and installation company. Boris and his team will do what it takes to exceed the customer's expectations, from the initial quotation, to installation of your new system, and clean-up. I am just so pleased to find a company that is run on integrity and professionalism. Boris provided a very competitive quote, along with a 10 year manufacturer extended parts and labour warranty on all Goodman components (including AC unit, compressor, and coil). The installation team led by Fred, arrived a few minutes early on the scheduled install date, and had removed the old AC, completed some customized installation work, and had the new system up and running within 3 hours! I would rehire and recommend Boris and Cozy World in a heart beat!

Fred is very professional, he gives you honest opinion and recommendation. The work is done on time and I have no issues or objections whatsoever. Excellent service, very rare to find these days!
