David was contracted to renovate our bathroom. The scope of the work was a bit further than he normally handles and he communicated this up front during the quotation process. We had David tear down our existing bathroom, remove and old tub and also remove some oddly built bulkheads. Our design included a new shower stall (tiled) and a tiled floor with baseboard tiles. David worked tirelessly to complete the job. We also needed a plumber and an electrician. Although we were unable to secure a plumber, David took on those responsibilities and did a very nice job. David works on only one project at a time and therefore we were never left in the lurch with a partially completed project while other projects were being done. Hence he worked straight from start to finish - which is nice. We are happy with our new bathroom design and look forward to enjoying it for years to come.

David came to our home and provided us with up to date home trend recommendations for tiling the main level entry way, kitchen and ensuite. David is meticulous and dedicated to his craft. A professional on all levels. He works diligently and within the time line that he offers to complete the job. Our newly renovated flooring looks fantastic, thanks to David. We highly recommend David for all your tiling requirements.

When David showed up to give us the quote, we showed him a picture of the design we wanted as our centerpiece. He looked at the picture, the size of the tiles and the area we wanted the centerpiece and said he could do it. We had no reason not to believe him with all of his years in the business. We agreed upon a price which we believed was based on the difficulty of the the centerpiece. No complaints on the quality of work on the backsplash. However, when it came time for him to do the centerpiece he realized that he could not do the design we wanted. We had to come up with another design on the spot for him to put up as the centerpiece... And the alternative was more simplistic than the original design. Now I can't complain about the quality of his work. David was clean and efficient. But in the end, the design of the centerpiece was not what we wanted, and we feel that David should have been able to have determined that based on his experience, on viewing the tiles we had and the area allocated to the centerpiece.

I contacted David solely on his perfect "10" score from Homestars and he certainly deserves this score. From the very beginning, he was prompt in setting up a meeting and providing a fair estimate. David was up front about a potential concern regarding the odd placement of a wall outlet (which I'll talk more about later). When installing the tiles, David ensured that all counter and floor surfaces were covered to prevent damage. For two days, he calmly worked around my family (including two young boys and a dog) and was always friendly and pleasant. What makes David truly exceptional, however, is that he would not leave the house after completing the job because he wasn't 100% satisfied with how one wall (the one with the oddly placed wall outlet) looked. Although I thought it was fine, and I'm certain the vast majority of installers would say "goodbye" at this point, David thought of a creative solution and worked for an additional 4 hours to make this section look wonderful. David truly is a "Home Star" and I cannot recommend him more highly.

David's quote was not the lowest of the ones we received but we selected him primarily based on the quality of these reviews and we were not disappointed. David holds himself fully accountable for his work and is quite willing to spend extra time and effort to satisfy a customer....a trait that is lacking in many tradespeople to-day.

I contacted David through this site and set up an appointment for an estimate. After providing a competitive quote for the work involved (elaborate pattern), he started the very next morning. His work ethic is outstanding and truly takes pride in the brand that he has developed. The many reviews on this site, based on the voice of the customer, speak for themselves. David is very good at what he does, but perhaps more importantly, he is honest and focused on the customer. Thank you David for a stunning backsplash!!!

David gave us a very fair quote for the work, leaving it to us to choose the tiles (however he took me to the store to help decide and then he bought them and delivered them to our home). He worked very hard every day, always trying to make sure to keep the dust and mess to a minimum. He was very good at explaining the process each step of the way and fun to talk to as well! We felt confident trusting David with our home while we were away and he did a great job transforming our horrible cracked old tiled shower into something to be proud of. I would not hesitate in hiring David again and would highly recommend him. He is one of a kind!

I contacted David via 'Home Stars' to provide an estimate to tile approximately 40 sq. ft. of back splash. He contacted me within 24 hours, arranged to visit and provided a written estimate within a week. He provided me with a start date and was there at the appointed time and started immediately. The tile was a complicated glass tile on mesh, containing glass strips of various lengths & widths. He discussed exactly how he would do the job, protected countertop, floor and appliances. Cut tile outside to avoid glass chips in house. David is knowledgeable, approachable & polite. He did an amazing job in two days, clean up was exceptional. Tiling around outlets, door jambs, corners was excellent. The finished back splash is splendid and the quality of workmanship cannot be questioned. An excellent job. Thanks David!

David did a great job on our backsplash for our kitchen. It took him a day and a half - exactly what he told us it would take. He kept the place clean and protected my counters and floors during the process. I was around when he did the job and I was very impressed at how meticulous he was with the placing of the tiles. He was able to "hide" the fact that my builder (new condo) put the counters not level. He did a fantastic job. He gave us options when I thought I bought the wrong amount of tiles and was short, but it all worked out with his help. I would hire him again. He is a very personable individual and a good person to do business with.

David recently did a very complicated tiling renovation of our master bath as well as a fireplace renovation. They were complicated spaces to work with. David was wonderful. In addition to doing meticulous work that looks fantastic, I really appreciated the additional value he brought to the project as he made some wonderful suggestions that we hadn't thought of and that significantly enhanced the end result. He was also a great problem solver when unexpected challenges arose and through it all was unfailingly friendly, helpful and reliable. Would give him higher than "10" if the system allowed.
