    Do not rent water treatment equipment

    I have rented a water conditioner and softener from enercare, when they first came and did a water test they said the conditioner would eliminated the sulfur smell from my well water. Once it was installed it did not remove the smell as I was promise and I had to reinstall my chlorine system that I was hoping to eliminate. At the beginning of august the conditioner developed at leak between the head of the unit and the tank causing water damage to my finished basement. After calling wanting it cancelled and removed they said my only option was to buy it out even though the unit was rendered useless. 3 week later I finally had a tech come and diagnosed it, he confirmed it was no longer in working order but needed approval to remove it and said I would hear back in 2-3 working days. 2 weeks later I decided to call and talked to someone who said they would send a email to a field manager to have the approval to cancel and remove it and that I would hear back in 2-3 working days again. Here I am 2.5 months after it leaked, still getting sent 75$ month bills (that keep increasing) for a unit that doesn't work and have received no calls or help in return for enercare. Luckily i was capable enough to reinstall my chlorine system or my water would smell so bad it would be unbearable. I would not recommend anyone to enercare and not let them put any products in your house. I would rate 0 stars if I could

    $15000 2-month old combi boiler not working and no customer service

    Enercare installed a combi boiler unit for my parents in August 2024. Now, less than 2 months after installation, it's not working. Earliest they can come is 3-4 days from now, despite it being cold and 2 seniors (in their late 80s), living alone in the house. I have been on the phone for 3-plus hours today, trying to speak to someone who can help but the customer service is horrific. The service calls must be outsourced to another country. The communication gap is too large for either myself or the reps to understand each other. I've been disconnected multiple times, and told that the phone is breaking up on my end. Impossible to communicate. Horrible customer service.

    Heating

    I found that the appointment was taken professionally and the service attendants Taras and Meer were respectful, knowledgeable and professional. Great job!

    Annual Furnace Inspection

    He called to say he can come early, which was great for us. He was very courteous, friendly & polite, & explained what he'd done. He also took off his shoes (THANK YOU!!). He was very efficient & knew what he was doing. Good job Enercare..!! From the Singhs, Whitby, ON.

    Customer Service

    Anybody else get screwed by one of their service agents? I called to cancel services in May and the agent responds with I can give you two months credit. I thought wow that's generous for a long term customer. Was I ever wrong - I have now been locked into the service I called to cancel for another year. I have called numerous times - got a special "CARE" number - no one responds. I email - no one responds. I only ever hear from their collection department to collect for a service I called to cancel back in May. It has been five months with zero response from their Customer Service. Be careful dealing with their deceitful agents!!!

    Very very poor customer service

    Dispute department is very very slow and don't care about their customer. We have been paying to enercare for rental water heater for 24 years. The last 12 years after renovation , we didn't have the water tank anymore .We even paid for the buyout , and expecting to be refunded for at least 10 years of the money we have paid to enercare. No luck to talk to dispute department after waiting hours and hours on the phone and sending couple emails , so my advice to you don't rent anything from enercare . They really don't care

    NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE. IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE YOUR ISSUE DEALT WITH 1 PHONE CALL.

    From the time the salesman came for the sale (June/24), to today (Oct 3/24) it has been a NIGHTMARE and a huge waste of time dealing with this company. I have had to make weekly calls to their "Customer Service" dept - which is poorly named because they do nothing other than take the info & send it to other depts - each time to correct what the person before them did or didn't do. The amounts I'm being charged are STILL wrong despite many calls for this to be corrected; info on the account was set up wrong - how difficult is that?; have had to make a few calls to have someone come in & fix the equipment, it goes on and on. What a nightmare dealing with them. Make sure you see prior reviews - on other sites too. 1 site I saw said 60% of respondents gave them 1 star; TOO MANY other people saying the company is horrible to deal with and they question if the company is even legit. The only positive I can say is that the equipment works well (after having 2 technicians come in after the install) and I am happy with my purchase. All I'm asking is that I am charged what the salesman told me I'd be charged. SUCH A BADLY RUN COMPANY. Apparently no supervisors either - which doesn't help. Never have I had this type of trouble dealing with a company. And I'm not new to this game.

    Enercare etobicoke review for Andriy

    Andriy from Enercare Etobicoke and Randy came to fix my thermostat and make sure furnace was running and connecting. I am very pleased as he worked hard and rechecked all parts that were replaced. Very diligent and polite. And I want to thank Randy as well for his prompt reply to get this organized.
