    Leaking water heater

    Came home to a partially flooded basement, called enercare, within a few short hours service rep arrived, recommended an upgrade which we did. Installation team arrived on scheduled the next afternoon and completed the installation. Service rep was excellent. I believe his name was Ricardo and the installation manager was Steve who was also excellent. We had hot water the next day in the afternoon.

    Furnace Service

    Booked service on the telephone. additional services were offered as as suggestion, no pressure. Service tech arrived at the beginning of the 4 hour window. He was prompt, courteous, and explained his findings to me clearly with all options available.

    Al is the nicest person alive

    always on time, they do a thorough job and they have the nicest staff. This is the second time Al has come to service my home and he is the sweetest most encouraging and wonderful person ever. Also gives really good tips and advice

    Great Experience, great staff and awesome technician

    My furnace conked out on Saturday Dec 29th, I called Enercare and they enrolled me in the furnace protection right away, and a tech came out same day, although he needed parts, he was back early afternoon on December 31st, even though I had to wait through no fault of Enercares, when I called in to follow up EVERY single person I spoke to was awesome, empathic and sympathetic...Starting with Joann, then Mary and Sandy....wonderful people to deal with.

    Furnace & A/C Installation

    The good: Enercare responded quickly to a no-heat situation and scheduled installation of a new furnace + A/C within 2 days. The quality of the installation was excellent. I’m a retired engineer who's fussy about workmanship and so were the Enercare installers, Shaun (sp.?) and Dave. Job well done! The not-so-good: 1. I wanted a smart thermostat. Not crazy about the one provided by Enercare (given my emergency situation, didn’t have time to research and consider other options). The wall display is normally blank and it’s necessary to press a button to see temperature readings. The thermostat is a component of Enercare’s “Smarter Home” system. It communicates wirelessly (by Z-wave radio) with a system hub having a cellular modem connecting it to the Internet. The user controls Smarter Home components on a smartphone or other connected (wi-fi or cellular) device. The system comes with an Enercare monitoring (furnace) and service contract having a 3-yr. minimum that I don’t otherwise need or want. 2. The A/C cover provided didn’t fit. Enercare delivered a replacement having the same Part # and, not surprisingly, it didn’t fit either. It has been nearly two months, it’s wintertime, and I’m still waiting for a cover that fits.

    Hot Water Heater leaking

    The technician shortly after 8:am this morning. Very pleasant, confirmed the problem and rectified it very quickly. Jason Quintician works for Enercare. He is in my view a very good employee. He explained what he was doing and gave me hints about other things I might need to do in the future.

    Always there when needed

    I have an old furnace and financially unable to replace it at this time. I am an Enercare subscriber and they have provided excellent service that is covered by my plan, saving me a substantial amount of money. Brad Reaman was the service technician that did the work on my furnace. He was very polite, efficient and made me feel that he genuinely cared about the work he is doing. Once I am able to purchase a new heating system I will be sure to involve Enercare in making my choice and ensure that they are the company that I will use in future.

    Emergency Furnace Repair

    Started out well with friendly customer service and a technician able to come out the same day to look at why our furnace wasn't working. Things went downhill from there. The first technician didn't have the part and had to order it for the next day. Then the part didn't arrive until hours after it was expected while we continued to wait. When the part finally arrived we were told that there were no further service appointments until the next day. We subsequently learned that the first technician could have done a temporary fix but instead we went two additional days with no heat. The following day a technician did not come in their four hour service window despite a confirmed appointment. When we contacted customer service we were told that they had no way to get a hold of technicians or find out their schedule and could not view any service history on our account. We were also told that there were no supervisors or managers on their shift to escalate and that we should continue waiting as there was nothing they could do to help. A couple of hours after our appointment window a technician did arrive and was able to fix the problem. He provided good service but at this point it was 5 pm on Christmas Eve day after three days of no heat. We are extremely dissatisfied with Enercare after this experience.

    furance maintenance

    I have the enercare maintenance plan. Grant Harris came today to check the funace. He was courteous, professional and firendly. Was great with the dog! He explained an issue and told me how to rix it.

    Furnace repair on Christmas Day

    Imagine... No heat on December 25 morning, 4 hours after the call to Enercare the heat was back on! The faulty part was changed 2 days later. Both technicians were great, the second one Mr. Rollin really took the time to talk about safety and optimization very good service! Thanks Enercare.
