    Great service!

    The tech. David Lewis, was very professional,courteous,and extremely helpful as well as friendly. He called an hour before his arrival to let me know he will be there @ 8 and he got here exactly at the time he said he would be. up on his arrival he explained what he would be doing,and how long is gonna take him. He worked on my furnace and told me some helpful tips on how to run the furnace efficiently. overall I’m very satisfied with the service he has provided. Thank you David!

    home services protection plan

    ! was was overbilled 261.09 in sept. 2018. I had automatic withdrawl for monthly service plan .. Enercare overbilled me. Your mistake -not mine. For over 2 months now I still have not been paid back yet. Each time I call I get a different excuse of where my refund is. Last week I was told there was a mixup in billing and the refund was being processed. When-next year? You people are worse than cogeco to deal with.

    Left with no heat so far for 4 days since Christmas Eve. No resolution

    Called back in September to get a regular maintenance, gave appointment originally on Dec 18. Technician cancelled last minute. Technician showed up on Monday Dec 24 at 2 pm. Told me that he had to shut off the gas for the furnace. Asked him why, he said there is a defect in the Heat Exchanger. Asked him to fix it, he said I need a new furnace and there is nothing he can do for me at this time. Asked him to replace the heat exchanger, he said it wasn't covered. Told him to repair as we would pay. Said his supervisor told him he didn't need to stay, left. Have called over the past 4 days repeatedly. Still waiting in the cold with a family of 5 and pets!. They dropped 2 heaters off yesterday on my door step without notifying me.

    Service call for our water heater

    On a special day like Christmas Eve your service man came during our appointed time and called ahead. He was efficient in assessing the problem and repairing the problem.Instead of rushing off as it was very late he took the time to explain how the everything works in the hot water system. He also tested for gas leaks and the chimney draw. He also gave us a few tips on making our heating system a little safer. We could not be happier.

    Broken water heater

    The technician David Lewis was at my home for appointment to repair my water heater. He was prompt and arranged for replacement heater with efficiency. Very pleasant man to deal with. thank you.

    Good value for the money

    The technician who came to do the annual inspection of my furnace recently as stipulated in the maintenance contract was very well prepared, quick and he showed me the readings for the various tests before he left my place. I am a customer of Enercare for the past 4 years and all the services I got so far were exceptional. Once, the heat exchanger got defective in the middle of the winter. They came and did the repairs the same day (as I placed my call just before 5pm), and it cost me nothing as I was told everything was covered by the plan. I insisted that I wanted to have an idea about how much I saved and the technician showed me the bill for the parts which was $375.

    Lappin house in Toronto

    Person was fast and tried to resolve the problem fast our Water tank was no working and they order a new part and took only 24 hours to have everything done The beginning very helpful Ps. I paid monthly 40 dollars

    Rents out faulty equipment

    Up until recently I would have highly recommended Enercare. I have been a customer of their protection plans for years and are usually satisfied with those. However, in the last two years I have rented HVAC from them at two properties and a tankless water heater at one, and I am beyond dissatisfied with the quality of the equipment and/or installation. In July 2017 we rented a new HVAC system in our old home (which we still own as a rental unit) and everything seemed great, so this past summer we decided to do the same at our new home, and we also got a tankless water heater. Then in August, there was a problem with the AC unit at the first house which needed to be repaired. Despite the fact the unit was barely a year old and should not be expected to break down, we still had to pay $400 for the environmental disposal fee. This is totally ridiculous. So that was bad enough. Fast forward to three days ago, and our brand new tankless water heater (installed in June) stopped working. It was flashing an error code. The first tech that came simply looked in a manual, decided a new part needed to be ordered and left. We got the part and another tech came yesterday, and he spent time on the phone with tech support and the manufacturer and they determined that the unit needs to be replaced. They also found that the unit is damaged on the inside. So we were sold at least two lemons so far. We got the new water heater installed today and it is working so far. I do not have much issue with the service and the techs on the job. There were some problems in communication by customer support on the timing of appointments, but it got sorted out. However I have really soured on Enercare in terms of trust in the equipment they have installed.

    regular annual maintenance

    Today we have regular furnace maintenance service, your tech. was Grant and he did an excellent job, very friendly and good communications skills. I hope he comes back next time if possible

    Anual furnace service

    Charanjit Pannu came to our home to perform the annual service on our furnace. We own this house for over twenty years and every year Enercare is servicing our furnace. This is the first time your serviceman perform a really thorough service and cleanup. It's people like Charanjit that makes the difference. I am completely satisfied with him.
