    I don't air condition since two weeks now because of Enercare

    The worst experience ever, we called this company more than two weeks ago, the first technician came said that he can't check the air condition because it was raining. He said he will come tomorrow to check it out, I asked what time, he said the company will call you to set up the time, no body called us so we had to call them again. They had no idea that he told us the company will call, anyways we told them, when are you going to send another tech to check our air condition they said they will send another one. The guy came, checked it out and he said that the compressor is not working and needs to be replaced we said OK, it should be under warranty because it's only two years old and the manufacture company of the air condition offers 5 years manufacture warranty, they asked us to call the manufacture to order the compressor. We did but the manufacture said we don't deal with home owner, certified Tech has to order this for you, you can't order for yourself. We call them again and told them that the manufacture needs you to contact them to order the part, they said OK we did but we are getting no answer because you guys have no serial number on the air condition. They said when we came to your place we couldn't find the serial number so they want us to buy the part from them and pay them around 1300$. Then me and my husband decided to open the air condition and see if we can find the serial number to give it to them so they can order it for us from the manufacture as we don't want to pay 1300$ to get the part while we can get it for free because it's under warranty. Once we open the air condition door, the miracle happened we found the serial number and it was so obvious to see, you don't need to be a technician to see it really so I was so surprise that two technicians came to my house and search for it and they weren't able to find it. I am not sure now if the technician didn't find it or they just want us to pay them the money so they can order it for free and let us pay all this money. We are still waiting on answer from enecare.

    The technician (Paul Vi) was professional, experienced, considerate of the surroundings he was working in, conscious of time, meticulous, and provided helpful advice on how to care for the HVAC system.

    Air conditioning maintenence

    My technicion was very good. His name is Atta Bonse. He is very efficient and informative. He has been here before and was great then as well. I am very pleased.

    Replaced furnace and air conditioner

    I had my furnace & air conditioner replaced today by Cliff & Dave. I wanted to say how pleased I am with the service they provided. They both were so friendly & professional. They ensured I knew exactly what was being done and answered all my questions. They both take pride in their work as witnessed by the end result. I am very happy with the installation and would recommend enercare to my friends & family. Thanks Cliff & Dave you did a great job! Ruth Goggin

    Furnace repair

    I would definitely recommend Enercare. We were given a very timely appointment (within a 24 hr period). The Technician - Gary, was exceptional - professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I am renting a water heater, furnace and air conditioner from Enercare. Jennifer

    Enercare claimed I need a new Air Cond, misdiagnosis & hard sell

    I purchased the Enercare Warranty Plan which covers Parts & Labour. My Air Conditioner broke down so I called Enercare for service. A technician came to my house, did a 5 min. check and said "Oh your compressor has burnt out, it no longer holds pressure, you need a new air conditioner, I'll send a guy to give you a quote. Then came the salesman with a very hard sell tactics. I didnt feel comfortable, so I called Golden Air Home Service. The technician said only the capacitor needs to be replaced, not the compressor, a $ 150 repair vs a $ 6000 new Air Cond. He said it is impossible to misdiagnosis a Capacitor vs a Compressor, they will have to misrepresent or out right be dishonest. I called Enercare back to complaint, they say "it is what it is and you do what you want". Enercare refuse to offer the warranty, or cover the repair cost as per the contract. They will not even let me cancel the warranty service until the annual contract is over. DO NOT BUY ENERCARE WARRANTY, it is dishonest, and outright WRONGED ME.

    Enercare for Heating and AC

    Chose rental option for time being, works out perfect for timing of both appliances. Next year will look at buying or staying on rental. Provided flexibility when I needed it. Should have done this 2 years ago.

    Gas water tank replace

    I will recommended anytime the guy who did the job Nicolas did a excellent job Very polite and carefull etc He was on time and clean up everything before he left Shake my hand very handsome Ginette

    Broken Promises

    Enercare has been the worst company that I have ever dealt with. First of all, I was promised a $200 card with the rental of a water heater. After years of frustrating calls to customer service, I gave up, they were of "no help". On trying to close the account today, which took and agonizing "33 minutes", I found that they mailed the card to the service address, which is a rental property, needless to say, I never received anything! just as a comparison, it took only a few minutes to close Uniongas, Hydro One, Utilities, Enercare took 33 minutes of painful debate after being transferred 3 times. The only silver lining is that I will finally be done with Enercare in September!

    Hotwater tank installation

    Needed a new hotwater tank decided on renting one instead of buying. From the first call to Kelly think that’s her name from call centre in Brantford to the 2 servicemen Kurtis and Kevin who installed my new tank. These 2 were great at what they do the service was beyond expectations and would definitely call Enercare without hesitation for future service once we convert to natural gas. Thanks again Kevin and Kurtis Corrine
