Premium Service Plan - now 8 days without heat
As a 12 year customer I would have expected better from this company. Last Tuesday I had their annual service done to my boiler. Wednesday the house was 52 degrees. The next serviceman was not impressed with the previous job, so he redid the work. In doing so he broke a bolt on the boiler - his response was 'it's an old boiler, buy a new one'. So much for the old 'we will guarantee the job, fix or replace the parts and give you heat'. Today, the 8th day without heat the new boiler arrived. After an 11 hour install the workmen noticed that a certain valve was not in with their supplies for this job. (Yesterday a man measured the site for the equipment that would be needed.) So now I have no heat and no hot water, and need to be home tomorrow for the work to be completed. I have had to be available for the service men on 6 different days including the meeting to sign the agreement for the new install. All in not a good experience considering 12 years of good service and a $12,000 replacement cost.
