    Frozen hell

    Our 7 year old furnace stopped working one cold winter night. We called enercare with whom we had a plan.They had just did maintenance and cleaning service on the furnace 2 weeks before. Long story short 4 days later with no heat I call another company and they had a new furnace in place the same day. SUCH LOUSY SERVICE because Enercare DOES NOT CARE

    A technician that threaten us 5 times

    Usually I don't give reviews in general, but this one takes the cake. On Nov, 19, 2017, we called a technician (Steve. M) to check up on the water heater. How our basement layout is that are doors and a washroom and a room with DOORS and WALLS that separates the water heater room. So, the technician wasn't too happy to see a 'bedroom' that no one sleep in and started threatened us to cut the gas. I asked for this license number and ID, and he didn't provide it, and he also didn't provide the so called 'code' we violated. He threw the yellow tag at us and stated to get a new water heater and storm out. He also didn't fix anything. I can tolerate rudeness, but I will not tolerate threats. Also, the next technician that came was a major sweetheart. Super nice and had amazing customer service skills. And he also told us there was no issues and don't know why Steve was such an evil man.

    Water heater problem solved

    Good, prompt, courteous friendly service. I had a water heater problem which was resolved promptly at no cost to me. All costs were covered under my rental agreement. There were 3 major parts that required replacement which the technician replaced promptly

    Service of furace

    I received A call on the morning of the app. from my service tec. to let me know when he would be arriving. He arrived on time, checked the furnace, told me what he found and if there was a need to change anything. My filter for the humidifier is old. He was very polite. Great service from good company. I recommend this company.

    Yearly Fireplace Cleaning

    Mr Luc is the technician who serviced our gas fireplace this year. He was efficient, competent and carried out a very comprehensive inspection and cleaning of our fireplace. He is a friendly and knowledgeable person who took the time to carry out his work in a most commendable manner. His excellent work ethic is a credit to the Enercare Team.

    Excellent service technician

    Herkant, the service technician from Enercare arrived on time and was excellent to work with. He was polite and courteous, and explained what he was doing in servicing our furnace, and also offered some tips on cleaning our electronic filter as well.

    Furnace

    Grant came to service our furnace today What an amazingly nice and knowledgeable man; Boy did he know his stuff. He not only serviced the furnace but was able to point out somethings we were doing wrong and gave advice on how we could make it better. Thank you Grant; we know you could have ignored the other stuff like others did before you. Thanks to you we saved some money and avoided a huge expense in the future.     Furnace, Air Cleaner, Humidifier and Air Conditioner Installation

    The Energy Management Consultant, Ken, was very friendly and courteous, as well as knowledgable and took the time to really explain the benefits of the products we were considering. The service provided by Vince R. and Steve W. was exceptional. Our new furnace, air cleaner, humidifier and air conditioner were installed without any problems. Both installers/technicians worked well together and were courteous and knowledgable, taking great care to ensure that the work was completed in a clean and efficient manner. They also took the time to explain all aspects of the new products.

    Furnace maintenance

    I have been with them for more than six years and have been recommending to friends. Thought they were a great company up till today. I had a new furnace installed from another company coz they were charging me 50% more. When i called to cancel my contract, i was told i had to pay till my anniversary date which was in Aug 2018. I was beyond shock. And get this, i can only cancel TEN DAYS before anniversary date. Guess its a good marketing strategy coz they hope you will forget by the anniversary date. And get this, they tried to sell me other products. They said i could pay for annual maintenance check up for $9.99 BUT only AFTER my anniversary date expires. When i signed up with them initially, i was told i was tied up to the contract for one year ONLY and after that i can cancel anytime thereafter without penalty. When the time came to cancel, it's now totally a different story!!! I was even insulted for not reading their contract but only relying on their sales rep over the phone!!! shouldn't they train their sales rep to be HONEST upfront? So a warning to future customers: BEWARE what you sign up with them. Am i so glad i did NOT sign up for their air conditioner and plumbing maintenance which they have been offering to be for YEARS since i have been a good paying customer.
