    furnace problem going off and on

    I paid a bill for a wire connection that made the furnace go off and on thru my gas provider.. enbridge..who no longer deals with this company except for the gas. used thru hot water tanks next thing I know I was charged a $300 bill for a maintenance Program . I didnt ask for.. I refused to pay. and asked for a bill re the $200 work. that I did pay for .. no bill.was ever sent from direct energy. who changed their name to enercare... they called my cell phone twice a day for a complete year....

    Furnace maintenance and protection plan

    I have had a furnace maintenance and protection plan with Direct Energy/Enercare since I moved here over 12 years ago. I can say that the techs are very friendly and professional. With this last maintenance check, my furnace was emitting carbon monoxide. Time for a new furnace. A Sales Rep came to quote. I was floored with the price...it wasn't doable. It's a crime to charge so much in a country where heating is a necessity in the winter. I went with someone else that was recommended by a colleague. $7500 cheaper. I tried to cancel my plan by phone but was told I had one of two options, pay it monthly until my yearly contract is up in August of next year, or pay it all in one lump sum. You call those options. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I was as high as I could get. Really?? I sent an email to their customer care on October 17th, and I know they read it, and have yet to receive a response. Even though it is a yearly plan, I did not sign anything. Please don't use these people...they don't care about their loyal clients...the mighty dollar is all that counts!

    The technician arrived on time, was courteous, and prepared to explain what he was doing and why. My impression is that he was / is completely at ease and competent.

    water heater installed

    I cant begin to thank enercare enough after purchasing a house with a 50 gallon hot water tank that was quite dated approx. 20 years old I was very unhappy with the quality of the hot water, it was always just warm never hot and I would run out of hot water?? I wanted a larger tank and a high efficiency as well but we were 1 inch out for a legally placed 60 gallon, there is more to know than you think to just putting a tank in, they have to follow proper safety guidelines I was so upset and frustrated to think I had to live with this, well I had the greatest enercare maintenance men come and they took the time to find a solution for my home... I will be forever greatful I now have a 75 gallon tank I can shower without running out of hot water, it is peace of mind and I couldn't be happier. There service was very respectful, considerate, courteous, efficient, well done!! Highly recommend these guys to anyone...     Hot water tank was leaking. Called Enercare. Rep was great!! Technician showed up next day within scheduled time. Chatted. He fixed problem. We chatted some more. He left. Life continues.

    Just had a service call on furnace. Extremely polite, well mannered technician from beginning to end of call, kept me informed along the way with what he was doing. Probably the most polite technician I have had in the house in years!!! Def. good customer service, would recommend service due to caliber of staff. Thanks
