    HVAC Services

    I can only comment on the service. The booking experience was efficient. The technician arrived on time and called ahead when she was on her way. She advised us on a few things we needed to do to improve the performance of our equipment and she was courteous about leaving the house and work space clean.

    Old Water Heater

    Our EnerCare hot water heater came as a rental with our home. I didn't give it much thought - $26+tx/mo for 6 years - until it leaked all its water and died while we were away for the weekend. A check of our contract showed that the water heater was 18 years old so the fact that we'd had 6 years without one call to the company was a good thing, but it was probably a very low efficiency model costing us more in energy daily. When we called EnerCare, they didn't even know our names though they'd been billing us correctly for 6 years - they still had the unit registered to the house's previous owners. That is insulting and just lax business practice. Our contract had happily expired so we were free-agents and could change hot water types/companies/structures with no penalties. Then again, in 6 years we'd paid for the hot water heater as if we'd bought it - and given it's 18 years old - they were paid 3x the cost of the heater during it's life. When I was trying to make sense of the choices, I found that Enercare's call center is always helpful but not always well informed. You either luck out with who you get or you get confusion, incorrect or misleading information. I know because I called 4 different times. They are not pushy for sales - but contracts are so restrictive and they would not match the competitors online offer to try to maintain our excellent account and good business, so they lost us. Advice: There is no 'right answer' as to what to do about water heaters - your decisions are based on a complex set of variables such as your guesstimate gas/electric costs for the contract duration, your home's size/number of bathrooms/appliances needing hot water, your projections about how the energy efficiency will improve during the life of your contract, whether you think you will need service calls, whether you plan on moving within 7-8 years, your environmental goals, your space requirements and your current use of hot water.

    Hot water tank replacement

    The installers were courteous, polite efficient and knowledgeable. They did a great re & re job and cleaned up after they were done! We were very happy with the quick service; I placed the call at 12:30am on Sunday and the technician arrived that morning at 11:00 am. He put a call in for a replacement tank and the installers arrived by 2:00 pm!

    Hot Water Heater

    This story started as a nightmare, but ended up great. I woke up to discover that I had no hot water and as you can imagine, my wife and daughters were not happy. I did some quick online searches to troubleshoot and then called a company which had reviewed well online, in our area. I was very disappointed the service (You can read the review I wrote about it on my profile). A subsequent search I discovered Enercare, who offered the installation of a larger unit (free), with lower monthly rental fee, AND they gave me several months with no charge. SERVICE CALL: FREE INSTALLATION: FREE REMOVAL OF OLD TANK (To Curb): FREE MONTHLY RENTAL: under $30 I went with them and would highly recommend them for their price and for their friendly, professional service.

    Hot water heater

    On this call the Customer Service Representative was very helpful and did her best to resolve my issued by deploying a service technician to my residence. The Service technician arrived and he was very informative about what the problem was and what he would do to resolve the problem. The Technician was very efficient and completed the job to my satisfaction. The Technician also informed me about the precautions I could take to avoid an expensive furnace breakdown. Overall, I was satisfied with the service I received.

    bathroom sink

    I have been a Enercare customer for many years. I cannot even imagine a customer that would not belong to the Enercare service programs: 3 -in- maintenance etc. Plans that offer heating, plumbing , electrical, etc are fantastic. The service a customer gets and the savings offered by Enercare are bar-none. The service right from the start is professional and courteous . From the rep. that handles your call to most of the direct Enercare (not contracted staff) techs. that service the call are terrific with the customer.

    Everyone who I have dealt with has always been professional, very nice and helpful. I have always received great service both from the call centre staff and the technicians who have visited my home.

    HVAC Service

    The service person was very friendly and exceptionally professional throughout the service visit. He called prior to arriving and made arrangements for the visit that suited our needs. He also took the time to trouble shoot a faulty component that was not directly related to our furnace (the purpose of the visit) and went through his service check list so that we understood what had been done and what was needed in the future.

    HVAC Services

    Technician informed me by phone that he was on the way, (very much appreciated), he was very polite and informative on the process, very efficient and extremely thorough. He also let me know every step of the process and everything in my home that had to be moved, ie: Vents, etc. was put back in place. This young man takes great pride in his workmanship and is a real asset to your organization.
