    Furnace Service

    The Direct Energy Service Technician was excellent. He was very friendly & explained all of the steps as he went through them. He has excellent customer service skills. Thank you!

    Hot water tank

    The rental hot water tank broke on a Saturday morning. I called Direct Energy and told them that the tank was leaking all over the place and will need replacement. Inspite of that, they sent a technician who came to tell me that the replacement tank will have to be done by someone else and will be done the next day. We went through a leaking tank situation for 48 hours and I had no choice but to wait and then I was told that the rental goes up by another $10 per month and that I have to pay $250 plus tax for the installation as well! Horrible.

As much as we trust your expertise when it comes to water heaters, we must send a technician out right away to diagnose the problem to determine if it can be repaired or if it needs to be replaced. Without seeing your account info, I can only assume the extra charge was for upgrades in venting and piping to meet new building codes. Also assuming that your tank was not leaking for 48 hours and that the first technician shut off the water supply to the tank to stop the flow of water?     Furnace Service

    After moving to this newer house 2 years ago and having to deal with different contractor regarding the cleaning of the old furnace, this installation was a breeze with the crew from Direct Energy. Thank you very much gentlemen for work well done.

    Plumbing repair

    Called Direct Energy for a leaky stop valve in our laundry room, since we were on their plumbing service plan. Booking service was friendly and easy. Technician arrived within 4 hour window time booked. Would have been nice if the plumber could have given a confirmation call just before coming, as the furnace technicians usually do. Otherwise the plumber was courteous, professional, fast and very helpful.

    maintanence

    Direct Energy do my furnace and AC maintenance. The technicians are always polite clean and efficient. my problem is that they are always trying to sell me equipment upgrades and duct cleaning. two things I don't really need.

    Furnace Service

    I had to call again and the 2nd representative was very helpful and called Ottawa to send a technician on Saturday instead of having to wait until Monday. The 2nd rep. was excellent.

    Water Heater Install

    When I called in to check on the age of my water heater, the representative was extremely pleasant and efficient. She booked the replacement for the following week, no lengthy delay. The young men who came to do the replacement were very courteous and clean, efficient workers. Upon completion of the installation, they took the time to go over the controls and settings leave me very comfortable with it. I was very impressed with the complete service.
