The service man was very polite and helpful in his explanations. However, the telephone communication, for the appointment, could have been much better. It was very difficult to understand the person I was talking to, although I was able to finally get the pertinent information he was asking for from me.

never go with those people i make a mistake when the finish the installation of the water heater they ask me to sign paper and i asked the guy if there something important to read and he said no its all usual point and unfortunately i signed without reading each word in the papers and now after 9 years and the unit sometime working sometime not i called them to cancel and then they said if i will cancel i must pay 2051$ the price of the unit and when i asked them why they said this written in the contract which that guy let me sign without telling me anything not when i order the unit not before installing not after installing and signing the paper and then i asked them ok i start renting this unit because you gave me the monthly price 33$ and now i'm paying 53 then they told me same answer its written in the contract that they can change the price when ever they want without notice and then i asked ok when this contract will finish they said if you want we can send you a copy but you must pay 50$ and when i told him i just want to know the end date he said he cant see it on their system which mean for ever so never sign with them anything before reading all small details because they will catch you for ever

24th of Dec 2022 furnace broke down (-17 c) temperature. Technician came and ordered parts. I keep calling them everyday and wasted half to an hour every time for 2 weeks. They keep saying that they ordered the parts but the distributor unable to find the parts since the furnace is old. Later I found out the parts are in the market locally, it's only that their specific distributor didn't had the parts. After fixing the issue privet technician encercare refused to cancel the plan until next Sept 2023 or pay penalty for canceling the plan. I had their plan for 12 years and called them only once before this incident.

Gosh! From my initial service call to your intake associate to the very end with Tech. Rocco! Both associate, extremally knowledgeable, pleasant and caring. They both took the time to explain things that I was not aware of. Rocco explained so much about my unit and its care to even doing a full diagnostics. Keep up the good work Enercare! You have earned YOUR name and I believe that you do care. This is not my first run in with Enercare, by the way! I have yet to be disappointed! Keep up the GOOD JOB!

I'm sure you can find cheaper services out there but why would you bother. These folks are very professional and reliable from installation to follow-up service and maintenance. Peter - Toronto

I made the mistake of renting an air conditioner from Enercare, not realizing that there was an inflated buyout price upon cancelling the rental agreement. When our furnace died recently and we decided to upgrade to a heat pump, we had to pay $3500 to get out of the rental agreement. We are now out $3500 and we have a large air conditioner, which they will not take back, sitting in our backyard. Enercare is a predatory company. They might be okay to buy from (although they are overpriced with medium quality service). Never, never rent from this company. It is better to avoid them altogether.
