    Furnace Maintenance

    Since I signed on for a Total Home Protection Plan from Direct Energy (about $30 per month), I have enjoyed peace of mind knowing that my furnace, AC and plumbing are covered. No surprise bills... just reliability at a fair price. The technicians are knowledgeable and professional, and customer service is very efficient booking appointments and explaining coverage. I do recommend this plan to others as it has already saved me money on my aging furnace. Unfortunately, the most recent visit has not been as satisfying. They came to do a furnace maintenance check, which I've had done in previous years and they tech always left a copy of the report. Now they bring in iPads and we have to digitally sign on the screen, after which they would email me my copy of the report. After a few days of not receiving it, and days after filling out their survey in the interim asking for someone to call me, I received a call and found that the email would take 2-6 weeks to arrive. I told the person how unacceptable that is, as I'm planning to sell my home and need that report. The customer service agent said he would see if he could get it expedited and assured me he would call back within a day either way. That call has yet to come through after about a week. So my rating went from a 10 to a 6 in large part because i don't like dealing with companies that can take 6 weeks to send an email, especially when they didn't tell me beforehand, and then agrees to return my call within a day and doesn't. Too bad... they had been doing so well by me...

    Hvac Service

    With having a family member take his life on mar 3 we were left unable to call on my brother in-law to fix our furnace as we have in the passed so i was very grateful to be able to call Direct Energy for peace of mind and having a plan in place so the furnace is protected for future maintenance issue. Thank you for being there and offering a service for a peace of mind.

    HVAC Service

    1st visit – technician diagnosed problem and ordered parts and part arrived quickly the next day. 2nd visit – technician arrived quickly to install new part. I liked having the same technician on both visits to complete the job/repair. Fast service.

    RWH Service Kitchen sink, main shut value, He told us it needed repair, we had the city shut off the water. They had to put in a new shut off at the street fo this to be done. Roy came back and repaired the main shut off tape to the house al while explain

    When we had an emergency with a broken sink tape. We had fast and electric service. Roy, the plumber form Marco plumbing, who went beyond perfect service. The wait time with direct on phone was not great.

    Very professional and friendly technician. Answered any questions we put forward. Completed furnace inspection - checked everything and left with a friendly smile. Very much appreciate his approach to both my husband and myself as we are seniors - felt very comfortable with him.

    Hot Water Heater Service

    I am very satisfied the service hour. Answering the phone even when I called in very late and schedule technician to come night time. That way I don't have to miss a day off work. Thanks.

    ProtPlan Sales

    I did not receive any written communications re the renewal of my plumbing protection unlike in previous years, so in this regard I would have to express my negative. I did, however, speak with your representative, Ian Roberts and as a result of his efforts, I did renew my plumbing protection plan. I am extremely satisfied with my plumbing protection plan.

    Toilet problems

    Please note the attitude the technicians showed towards me and the problem at my home. They were very courteous and knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. I definitely would call again on Direct Energy to help me with the maintenance of my home. thank you so much. a much appreciated customer.

    Wally was the best service tech we have ever had. He was friendly and respectful and explained everything he did in great detail. I have never had anyone be so thorough and take the time to go over everything. My time slot was 8-12 and he arrived at 8:15. I appreciated not having to wait all morning.
