    RWH Install

    FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE (PHONE). SERVICEMEN ARRIVED AT THE PROMISED TIME THE VERY NEXT DAY (A SUNDAY!). BOTH SERVICEMEN WERE FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. QUICKLY REPLACED WATER HEATER WITHOUT LEAVING A MESS BEHIND. REASON FOR NOT PERFECT SCORE; 30 MINUTE WAIT FOR TELEPHONE TO BE ANSWERED – OUR PHONE'S BATTERY COMPLETELY DISCHARGED.

    HVAC Service

    I came home to a cold house - not good. When the maintenance check was done in the fall the service person left a check list of things to try if the furnace stopped working. I tried everything and ended up calling for some help. Wow, it was amazing the service and help I received. I was able to get a service call that night and my protection plan covered the cost of a new motor. I was very impressed and so relieved. My thanks and gratitude go out to the Direct Energy team.

    HVAC Service

    This was the 4th. time that we have had to make a service call for the same problem, and this time, the service man went to the heart of the problem. I was very pleased.

    HEAT PROBLEMS ON NEW YEAR'S EVENING. DIRECT ENERGY CAME OVER NEW YEAR DAY, ALTHOUGH THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE PART WE NEEDED, THEY SUPPLIED US WITH ELECTRIC HEATERS UNTIL JANUARY 2ND WHEN FIXED. THANKS.

    New furnace and air conditioner

    I can hear just by talking on the phone with the representatives that Direct Energy is an honest, upright and well managed company. The service I called for was in relation to sewer flood damages and restoration services. I wish the insurance companies would deal directly with Direct Energy for faster efficient and cost effective service that is to code.

    Home Protection Plan

    Their home protection plan is very good on the surface. However, they sales tactic is quite poor. I originally had just a heating service plan, and when I called to get service, the sales offered the triple service plan, which I did agree to. The problem is that he failed to inform me by doing so, I will also automatically renew the plan for 12 months and I am stuck paying for it. I found this out less than 2 weeks later, when I called to inquire more about the plan. And of course, they won't allow you to change it back and just forget about the upgrade. I also did not use any of the new services during this time. After multiple calls and countless hours, I was finally able to downgrade the plan, but that also means I have to renew the contract for another 12 months as of that date. They also never provided any written information on the new plan that I signed up for, despite requesting the information multiple times. Overall, beware of their Home Services contract as they are not transparent at all!

    Rental Hot Water Install

    SCHEDULED TIME WAS HONORED AND THE SERVICE WAS PROMPT. SERVICEMEN (2) WERE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTED OUR INDOOR FLOORS BY PUTTING FLOOR MATS DOWN TO PROTECT HARDWOOD AND CARPETING. THE SERVICEMEN WORKED QUICKLY AND CLEANED UP WELL.

    I had two recent visits. Both technicians were excellent. The first technician got our furnace working enough to give us heat and ensured that the repair would be completed quickly. The second technician installed the new motor.

The second technician installed the new motor. One of the technicians also installed a removable seal at the furnace filter opening. There was no charge to me because I have the Furnace Protection Plan.

    HVAC Service

    After having difficulties with Direct Energy one month ago, I was really pleased with the service I received at 5 a.m. yesterday morning. We had no heat and we had a service technician here by 2 p.m. The technician, Kamal, was very pleasant and took the time to thoroughly check the furnace this was the exact same problem we had 1 month ago. Kamal couldn't believe how much I had paid for the part and wondered if the company really did replace it? Unfortunately, the part that needed replacing is a part I paid $800.00 for 1 month ago when Direct Energy could not get out here for 2 days and it was the same part that was replaced yesterday. I do need a copy of the diagnostic report from yesterday's call which will allow me to prove to the other company (Maple Air) that the part was defective. Can someone help me with that request? Further update, Maple Air will not return my $800.00 and I basically paid for a part that lasted 1 month.
