    New HVAC System !

    We recently had our 17 year old furnace "red tagged" after it's first inspection and needed an immediate solution to our situation. The technician, sales staff, and installers at Enercare were able to solve our problem in a professional, affordable and timely manner. I was most impressed with the service, advice, and solution that Enercare provided.! I would not hesitate recommending Enercare to anyone !

    Heating and cooling protection plan and maintenance plans

    Enercare is the worst company to deal with. Be prepared to be on the phone for 2+ hours if you are calling about billing issues. Firstly the agents have terrible accents and you cannot understand what they are saying. Theres probably only 1 person who speaks properly. Also theres always a lot of disturbance in the background. This makes it worse trying to understand them. Then they transfer you to different departments and you have to go through all the information over again. Todays call cal 2 hours 15 minutes and 4 different agents!!!! Also booked an appointment for a maintenance and no one showed up. I took the day off work to be home for the service call. They just didnt show up. No call but an email confirmation was sent to me confirming date and time. after I waited 2 hours from the 4 hour time slot, I called to find out how much longer I was to wait and was informed that the service appointment didnt go through!!! A day of work was wasted for me. That day I spent 3 hours on the phone trying to resolve this problem. Its not the first time a technician hasnt showed up. They are quick to take your money but provide the worst service and lock you in to contracts for a year or longer. Beware and dont use Enercare as they just drive you crazy.

    Enercare Service Call - Misled multiple times

    Very frustrating experience with Enercare this summer. Had a new Air conditioner installed by them last year and this year it started making some loud noises. Called to have a service tech come take a look and was told verbally there would be no charge as it was fully covered under warranty. The service tech shows up and tells me it's $100, and that the warranty doesn't cover time and labor. I then spend an hour on hold trying to connect with Enercare to resolve the issue and once on the phone am told very clearly a second time there will be no charge and that I'm fully covered. A month goes by and wouldn't you know it, I receive an invoice for the service call that's due immediately. I make my third call into Enercare and this time am essentially told, too bad, you aren't covered under warranty and it doesn't matter that we previously told you twice your service would be 100% covered we're charging you anyways. I don't care about the $100, just the principle of misleading clients just to bill them after the fact and tell them "too bad there's nothing we can do about it".

    heating A/C Installation

    I replaced old but working gas furnace, and air conditioning system, My work is in Property Management and i work with contractors every day . This experience was way above my expectations, starting with the phone person when i first called, her name was VIPLA. She was very helpful and professional. This was fallowed by the sales person, his name was SHAHAB, very professional, take every effort to make me understand, and also choosing the right equipment for my home needs. Finally the installers, very professional, they where very careful, and respectful of my home, the removal of the old equipment , and the installation was flowless and clean. I was most impressed with the overall experience.

    Inconsistent Mess - Still no Install

    4 months, not to achieve installation - three failed service visits - no contact from the sales rep - lacking customer service, transfers, holds, escalation is non existent I cannot understand how there are such high reviews here, unless i just hit the bottom of the barrel. for a full, water heater, ac, furnace install the amount i have had to chase is unacceptable, just take my money and do it! For some context, first service visit was to see the feasibility of a tankless water tank and it was confirmed that they cannot install due to proper ventillation (makes complete sense) - sent to sales rep to make quote changes - no changes for weeks, follow ups made through escalation channels, texts and wont answer his phone - changes made weeks later - another technician comes in to review an electric water heater install, gives the thumbs up - fast forward weeks for installation and they send a technician instead - says the electric wont work anymore - back to sales rep - no contact - Now we are months into the process with what seems to be a disorganized mess and we still dont have an install what is with the lack of consistancy for something that should easily be documented

    Air conditioner maintenance

    Technician was very helpful in describing the work he did and provided me with the names of two companies where I could purchase filters. He then drew me a map to find them!

    Preying on Senior Citizens

    They tricked an older family member in a plan, and started billing them. Now theyre refusing to demonstrate they have a valid and legal contract. They are acting unethically and are playing games to keep the billings in place.

    Extremely expensive rental, misleading representatives

    Had to pay $600+tax to buy out a 10 year old hot water tank that we don't need. I've spoken with Enercare representatives over the past 3 years since we bought the property, as we were appalled at the monthly rental fee of over $35 (over $400/year). These representatives were accommodating in providing 3 months credit, but when I asked whether there is any commitment to the rental after this credit, they said NO. I asked whether, if I chose, I could remove and return the unit, and they said yes. Today I called them to arrange pick up/drop off of the tank. I was first on hold for over 30 minutes, then transferred to 4 separate representatives. In the end they refused to take the return, and would not deviate from requiring me to buy out the contract that I never signed, and that their own previous representatives agreed that I could cancel if I chose to do so. Over $600 buyout for a 10 year old tank is outrageously expensive. I have had similar experience with Enercare's competitor in returning rental tank inherited from previous owner, and they were a pleasure to deal with, no issues at all with picking up the tank, with no charge to me at all. I will never consider Enercare for any services. Please never consider renting HVAC / HWT equipment (from anyone) ! It's infinitely less expensive to purchase and finance from line of credit, if needed.

    Leaking furnace

    Exceptional service! Rxxf H. from Enercare fixed our leaking furnace. there was a water leakage in our furnace today. It had never happened before! Enercare scheduled a technician to come fix our furnace the same day. Rauf H. was polite, quick, and professional. He patiently explained to us that we had to change our filter frequently. And he thoroughly cleaned all the furnace tubes for us to make sure no more clog inside the tubes. We are glad that the furnace is fixed.
