While this situation arose again, I called back and received great additional service call on Sunday, February 23rd, Service Technician arrived promptly and took extra care, repaired problem to ensure that we would have no further issues with hot water. He also took the time and care to check other areas around my hot water tank, furnace (I had a new filter ready to replace just sitting by my furnace and he took the time to take my old filter out and replace with new, I never asked him to do this and fully intended to do this myself and had left the filter there as a reminder for me to change) he also on his own checked a small leak at my humidifier, this was a result of the filter not being installed properly, he looked over the situation and corrected. I did not ask him to do these extra little service checks, I only found out at the end of his call when he was going over the repair to my water heater pipe. I write this because, I have actually never had service like this before and I was so impressed I had to send in a note so that there would be some recognition for this representative, I believe his name was Nicholas T. Excellent service which is actually the best that we have ever received from Direct Energy. Thanks again Marie
