    Furnace Maintenance

    The technicians that Enercare sends out are always excellent but this one was the best. He is very knowledgeable, informative, friendly and personable. He went above and beyond. For example he demonstrated the procedure to flush the furnace pipe and labelled everywhere to remind us what to do at the appropriate time of the year. He should be a mentor to new and inexperienced technicians.

    Furnace filters and combs

    I spoke to a staff member named Darlene. She was very helpful in getting what I needed and checked with a staff named Andrew in the stores area, to get his advice on comb filter pleats in the furnace. Darlene was very patient with me trying to explain. The filters are very expensive and they helped me fix the problem immediately. I have the advantage of yearly maintenance and the technians are always on time and do a good job. Thank you. Cost 0.

    Terrible customer service

    I have had Enercare’s home protection plan for the past 10 years and we just moved. I requested our services get transferred to the new house and received an email stating I had a new plan. I got a bill for 7 months of my plan. When I called to ask (after being on hold and transferred 3 times over 30 minutes) they said that they canceled my old plan and started a new one. They said they could give me credits on future bills...I asked why they don’t just transfer the plan and charge monthly as it’s the same cost but being surprised with a big bill is ridiculous. They said their policy when you move is to cancel your plan, charge the buy out costs and then restart a new plan. They then told me this was my fault for using the online moving form on Enbridge instead of calling. What is the point of an online moving form if you end up getting screwed over? Now I’m stuck with them for another year and owe them almost $500 this month for a protection plan. I am beyond frustrated at their customer service as they keep saying that I didn’t notify them properly. If that was true, how did they send me an email confirming a plan at my new home???

    enercare plumbing repair

    purchased enercare plumbing and drain plan. Have a problem with kitchen sink draining slow. Called and the tech came to house said everything normal. The 1 year plan expired 5 days later I did not renew. 5 days after that the plumbing under the kitchen sink fell apart. When the tech came to the house he did not even look at the plumbing under the sink. I had it all fixed now but the plan was a total waste of money the tech they sent out did not check the plumbing closely. Will not buy any of enercare plans.

    hot water heater

    I have never had issue with any of the technicians Enercare sends to my home. They are always professional and knowledgeable and even come with a sense of humour! They will answer any questions and explain anything you need to know!

    Quality service from a trusted provider

    Furnace cleaning in 2020. I have my furnace, water heater and air conditioner from Enercare. I trust them wholeheartedly for quality service at competitive pricing. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable and my appointments are within the service window and expertly executed. Most importantly I can expect them to be around to honor warranties and service commitments. Worry-free and reliable. Highly recommended.

    Prompt and professional

    18 year old water heater....Got it replaced with minimum fuss. Only 3 days we were without hot water. During these difficult times...managed to replace it within 3 days. It was a rental unit.

    Installation of high efficiency furnace and new humidifier

    Our old furnace was making odd noises and running unevenly. Then there was an almighty metallic bang. The next day we phoned Enercare to arrange for a new high efficiency one. By 2 pm that afternoon, we had a knowledgeable consultant at the house discussing what brand and type of furnace would be best for us. We took advantage of some discounts that were available from Enercare. Three days later we had two installers arrive in the morning to install the new furnace. They worked steadily and professionally and were very courteous. The older of the two fellows explained very clearly how this new equipment works and also how the new humidifier operated. We are very pleased with the experience.

    New Furnace - Bosch Combi-Boiler

    We had a great experience this time compared to 10 years ago with our previous furnace installation from Enercare. That was thanks to the Senior Energy Management Consultant, Joe C, and the technician installer, George F. Joe was very patient in explaining our options and assuring us that he would find us a good installer. He did not try to pressure us and even stopped by the day of the installation to see if everything was going well. George was a wonderful installer, explaining before and after and even during what he was doing. He very extremely polite and did a great job even leaving everything as clean as he found it. He showed us everything about the furnace before he left. Both Enercare people followed COVID precautions plus more and made us feel very safe.

    Furnace Service Call

    Furnace was making loud sounds. Placed a call and a technician came same day. He was professional, thorough, and lovely. Service call was covered under my annual Enercare plan. Very satisfied.
