    home renovation

    Nice showroom with easy parking; we got lots of help with selection of broadloom; good range of choice; good installation; very happy with the product and the project. We have used Dominion Rug for twenty-five years.

    broadloom for several rooms

    Great example of how a company should be run. Helpful, friendly, accommodating, efficient, conscientious - from sales (Anthony) to installation. Very pleased with the results. Have recommended Dominion to others and will definitely return when we are in the market for flooring in the future.

    Carpets, Rugs

    I dealt with Anthony and could he was a pleasure to deal with; no high pressure and very patient. He emailed me when the carpet went on sale and this actually helped me make up my mind because I was almost ready to buy a more expensive carpet. He did everything he could to make sure that I was happy with the product. No more Elte for me!

    Carpet installation throughout entire house

    We were thrilled with the products and service at Dominion Rug. Ben Baum was incredibly helpful and enjoyable to deal with. The guys who installed our carpets were knowledgable about their product and did and incredible job. They were also really friendly and helpful. We strongly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for carpets - big or small!

    Area Rug Purchase

    Our sales Person was Robert Yamamoto. He was helpful and knowledgeable when we were in to look and put a deposit down. After that he never heard from him again. I realize this is only a rug but to be honest I can't say I would or could recommend Dominion Rug to anyone based on our experience. The rug was months past the the timeframe articulated to us. 4-6 weeks turned into nearly 3 months. My wife had called on multiple occasions simply to check on when we may expect our delivery Robert never a returned a call and one time someone did call her back and that person (woman, I dont know her name) was quite rude on the phone. We ordred an under pad which did not show up with the Rug. There are lots of places to buy rugs in the City, They do have good quality rugs but I would suggest looking elsewhere for hopefully better service. Andrew S.

    We did apologize to you for the delays in production of the carpet you ordered. These things happen and are beyond our control. Sometimes in the production of finely loomed wool product, the production comes out bad because of yarn issues or equipment issues and has to be redone. I disagree with the accusation that we did not inform you of the delays or contact you whatsoever. If Robert the salesperson was not available due to personal reasons ,someone else did contact you about the delays in production and shipping and we are sorry if you interpreted her tone as rude. That would not be in our interest. Once the carpet arrived we expedited the finishing and delivery and yes my delivery man forgot the underpad, but he did return immediately with the pad. Yes, in some instances, no matter how hard we try, things do not go as planned, but we have always been about making things right, and I believe we delivered on that. I’m responding because, we care about our clients and regret that you feel that you had a bad experience with us. Regards, Ben Baum, owner.

    Bedrooms, hallways. stairs

    We have been using Dominion Rug for over 20 years. They have always been very professional, obliging and provided outstanding customer service. This time we were fortunate to have Anthony help us and it was indeed a very good experience. Would hightly recommend this company to anyone, and have.

    Carpet Purchase

    After searching high and low for good carpeting in the city, with trustworthy staff, we are glad to have come across Anthony at Dominion Rug Sales. He was honest, knowledgeable, and, made our rug purchase a breeze. I would definitely recommend Anthony at Dominion Rug Sales should you ever be looking for rugs or carpeting in future.

    Custom living room rug, basement carpet, family room carpet and upper stairway & hall carpet

    As I decorator in Toronto, I have used the service of Dominion Rug for more than a decade, both personally and for my clients. I have always found Ben and the whole team to be courteous, professional, very price competitive and complete the work in a timely manner. They have a large selection of samples from which to choose and will also do custom work. I would certainly not hesitate to refer anyone to this highly reputable company. I am thrilled with my new living room area rug! GREAT JOB, ONCE AGAIN!!!

    custom carpet and installation

    We have been dealing with Dominion Rug since 1995. Their professionalism, attention to detail and customer relations from start to finish has been excellent. Since we placed our first order in 1995, we have ordered several custom made carpets, had broadloom installed in two homes and even shipped 5 custom made carpets to our winter home in florida. Every piece we ordered arrrived EXACTLY as ordered and was installed by their dedicated and professional staff. We are honoured to be among their clients for more than 15 years.

    Custom Carpet

    Ben Baum, owner of Dominion Rug, was exceptionally helpful at finding just the right carpets and rugs for our new home. When his suppliers didn't have exactly what we were looking for, Ben had a beautiful rug created for us in his custom design department. Now we have the perfect living room area rug and a work of art that none of our friends has ever seen anywhere. A really positive experience.
