    Partial replacement of both storm and sanitary drains

    A river of water was coming up through the basement floor by the water meter, fortunately running about 10 feet into the floor drain. It ran for 5 days steady. After confirming with the City it wasn't a broken water pipe, I called three companies for help and quotations. One said I have to replace the entire sanitary and storm system; another eyeballed the situation and gave a quote. Armando from DrainWorks came when he said he would. He was polite, professional and spent a good deal of time looking at the situation in the basement and talking with me about possible causes. He then looked outside at the pipes, put the camera down both the storm and sanitary pipes explaining exactly what we were seeing. I have an older home with no cleanouts inside or out so using a snake was impossible. After a thorough inspection and understandable discussion, he suggested that digging out the existing storm and sanitary pipes and installing new piping, traps, with cleanouts to and from the house, would be his recommendation. He said he hoped that would resolve the problem and would be the most cost effective step for me to take at the time. His pricing was very reasonable, the crew were there the next day, very polite and professional. Armando and other DrainWorks people came by often during the day and were sincerely pleased when tree roots in the storm trap had caused the problem. They ran the camera throughout the drains, explained exactly what the system looked like, did a thorough clean-up of the job site and left the place as clean as before they came. If anyone has a plumbing/drain problem, I highly recommend they look no further than DrainWorks.

    clogged drain

    It's easter Sunday, and the water is coming up in the basement through the main drain. Drainworks has done two previous jobs at our place. The gentlemean came prepared with the history of all work done by the company previously. He arrived about an hour after we called without extra fees for holiday Sunday. For the third time the company has proved to be the most professional and reasonable home improvement/emergency service company I have ever dealt with.

    Slow drain in basement laundry

    My chronically slow drain in the basement laundry room was partially backing up into the laundry sink and then slowly draining. My own efforts with drain cleaners and a short snake didn't accomplish anything. I had an appointlment for the next day, but Jeremy called the evening before the appointment and asked if he could come sooner. He assessed the situation, made some suggestions and got to work. He snaked far into the drain until he got it cleared and then tested to make sure all was well. Excellent job.

    replacement of exterior sanitary line

    This was the second job we hired Drainworks to do. As before, they were timely, efficient, extremely neat and very personable, especially Mike Dunn and the crew supervisor, Walter. We have recommended Drainworks to others and will continue to do so.

    New Trap and Drain Repair

    I called Drainworks in distress after having sewage back-up in the basement. They arrived in about an hour and did their best to fix the problem which was on a Sunday. After realizing we needed a new trap, they arranged to have this done the VERY next day. Wow! The city ultimately had a back-up in the main-line which was the problem. Both Lou and Jeremy were absolutely fabulous, answered my questions and gave some great advice. They even came by later that night at 10:30pm to do a final inspection so I could get the water back running right away! I was blown away. Thanks

    replacement of all old clay pipes

    with drain back up in basement, got 3 quotes from yellow pages. went with company that had track record, was reputable and could provide references. efficient, professional and reliable. was the most expensive quote,but went with company that had solid credentials. follow up questions and service, always met with courtesy and no hassles.

    Plumbing and drain repair

    I'm a landlord and my tenants had a toilet blockage. I called Drainworks and within hours they sent a plumber to give me a quote. I hired him on the spot. He was helpful, thorough and down-to-earth. For a reasonable price, he took off the toilet and totally fixed the problem; he even showed me what had caused the clog. I appreciated that he didn't talk down to me (I'm female). He left everything spotless. Drainworks is an honest plumbing company that also gives back to the community. I would recommend them highly.

    Blocked basement drain

    Chronic slow drain in basement laundry sink, kitchen sink would partially back fill in to the laundry sink until it just stopped draining. I spent a day plunging it myself and then called Drainworks. Armando and Eric worked at snaking the block until they got it, 30 odd feet in. They even cleaned up after themselves!

    clean out of sewer pipe to the main street sewer

    They were very helpful, explained everything, talked about short term and long term issues and recommended course of action for the future. Not hard sell at all. In fact, this is the 3rd time I have used them. I will always use Drainworks.

    They removed roots from our drain & fixed the broken pipes.

    We found Drainworks to be promt, informative and professional. The did a great job fixing the problem and cleaning up afterwards. In addition to all their hard work, they remained nice guys!
