    plumbing-basement drain backed up

    Matthew was excellent!!! He not only fixed my problem, but explained it very clearly to me (a non-plumber). He also made suggestions to avoid any problems in the future. The whole experience was very professional from the time I made the call.. I was also very impressed with their cleaniness, no mess and he wore shoe covers. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again (if I need to).

    Flooding in basement - replacing trap

    We moved into our 1920s-era semi-detached house about five years ago and have had fairly regular back-up issues, usually after heavy rainfalls. The worst was after a summer storm a couple of years back and we had six inches of water in our (thankfully unfinished) basement. Being new homeowners (and not knowing any better) we would call Roto-Rooterto snake the drains, but the problem always came back. In September, after a friend recommended Drainworks, we had them come by to snake the drain. Boy, were these guys a step above our expectations. Not only were they on time, they explained the likely problem - the trap near the front of the house - and gave us an estimate. We didn't go through with it then, but we just had a much more unpleasant backup this past week. Sewage. So we called again, and Armando came by and was an absolute pro. We knew we had to get the work done, and he and his team were terrific. As it turns out, our trap had basically disintegrated - the guys just had to pick up the pieces after they dug. No wonder we had problems. It's a sad state in the world of contracting when folks who do what they say they'll do, at the price they say, are the superstars, but there you go. When we get our basement finished we'll be calling these guys first to take out the rest of our clay pipes. Recommended 100%.

    Some new pipework and much digging after removal of blockage

    Workmen came within 2 hours, assessed the sewage back-up problem; work was completed the next day . Minimal mess , efficient. They also recommended a clean-up company who will look after disinfecting and replacing damaged carpeting once the initial repair work(cement)has dried.

    clogged drain

    had blocked up sewage drain replaced from front of house to middle of basement drain replaced because of clay drain filled with tree roots,, trhey did a professional and clean job,, very happy with their service,,

    pipes from house out to street and sewage smell in basement

    We choose to try them after reading a ton of reviews that seemed too good to be true. They were. These guys are amazing. They were here 1 day after I called in. Their prices are good and their service is crazy amazing. From the person answering the telephone to the guys digging up my front yard to change pipes. Everyone was so nice it really made a huge difference from other companies I've used. When you call in after hours you reach them, not an answering service. They knew exactly what to do and did it so fast. My basement has had a bad smell since I bought the house 6 years ago. They found and fixed the problem within a day. I had renovators here for 6 mths that couldnt fix it. This is the 10th house I've owned and I only wish I found them sooner. I can't say enough about them. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Two problems, fixed in 2 days. They even cleaned up after themselves and my basement floor was cleaner than before they came. I will not even think of calling anyone else ever again. Thank g-d for this fantastic company!!!

    drain replacement

    Had a sewage back-up. Technician showed up early, assessed the situation (tree roots blocking clay pipe), clearly explained the options and arranged for the job to be done first thing the next day. Crew was professional, punctual, neat, and was followed by a thorough final inspection. Would definitely call them again.

    Drain cleaning - Fantastic experience

    We contacted drain works to inspect our sewer drains and investigate the cause for the backup. Within a couple of days they had a service guy come out and take a look. They took the time to explain everything that was wrong and make many different suggestions on how to correct the situation. They did a fantastic job, very clean, knowledgeable and did the job on time and on budget. Would definitely recommend drain works to all my family and friends.

    Clearing of sewer drain.

    I used Homestars to find this company and had a great experience. Our drain in our basement was backed up mid-day Saturday. We were able to make contact with the company immediately and had someone at our house less than 2 hours. They offered to take a video of the pipes to do a diagnostic along with clearing the pipes. It was a bit more money then just having the drains cleared but this gave us a better idea of what we may need to deal with in the future. We have a problem with tree roots which were cleared and given options for future prevention if we wish. We can't afford anything but the basics and this was done with no pressure and we were treated as any customer spending a lot more money. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

    FANTASTIC HOME PLUMBING TUNE UP

    WE NOW HAVE A PLUMBER FOR LIFE!! Search no Further. CHRIS was sent for a kitchen sink tap repair. Done. Subsequent to the repair Chris addressed the entire homes plumbing integrity. The overall value and professionalism left me with a wonderful feeling of. confidence that every aspect of the complete plumbing system was addressed. Chris immediately found many small however potentionally hazardous imperfections within the aging plumbing. He reinstalled a new cartirage into the 2nd floor shower making a nagging moisture drip obsolete. This was a tricky application only a seasoned professional should tackle . Yet Chris put his head down working hard constantly to make himself, his company and his customer proud. This kind of service does not grow on trees. It comes from many years of experience. Coupled with a dedicated man who has made his carrier his life. THIS IS WORKMANSHIP AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AT IT'S FINEST. I found DRAIN WORKS from homestars and consistently homestars provides the best experience and value for our home. CALL DRAIN WORKS IT WORKS

    Unclog sewer drain

    Overall I was pretty satisfied with the work. A little on the pricey side, but hey, they were quick and professional so you gotta pay a little for that. They showed up right in the middle of the quoted time range on a Saturday, put the camera down the drain and cleared the blockage in under 1 hour. Best thing is I could SEE the cleared drain and rest easy.
