    outdoor faucet relocation

    Chris came right on time, and didn't seem bothered if I asked reasonable or dumb questions. I asked advice on other plumbing issues in the house and was quite helpful. In terms of the relocation of the outdoor faucet, he was quick but thorough, and gave me several options as to where the faucet could/should go. He gave me maintenance instructions for proper 'winterizing' to prevent future problems. I had also recently bought a toilet ready to be installed DIY. I asked his opinion on the brand and he told me his professional opinion bluntly. He gave me his recommendation and where I could purchase it. Great job, happy with the outcome.

    replaced damaged pipes

    Drainworks responded promptly to our call, identified the core problem (tree roots), and scheduled work so that it wouldn't run over the weekend if additional problems were found. Since of course additional problems were found, this was appreciated. The workers were courteous, put down fabric to protect the floors, and cleaned up after themselves. The reason we docked them a point was because the final camera inspection wasn't done the day they finished the work, it would have been much more convenient than setting up yet another appointment. Also, I would have appreciated seeing the damaged pipe length at the end, to get a sense of what we just spend several thousand trying to fix.

We do try our best to return as soon as possible to provide the no charge final camera inspection for our customers, but dependant on call volume and when the project is actually completed, this procedure may be pushed into the next date. Regarding “seeing the damaged pipe”, unless requested, the damaged pipe is disposed of, however, if our customers remain on site during the repair, the damaged pipe would be visible as it is removed.     Backed up drain

    I called drainworks on a Sunday morning just after the holidays Our drain was backed up and we couldn't use any water or our toilet They had a plumber out with in a few hours who explained if they could not unplug it with a snake there would be know charge Then he explained all the details if we needed a camera He was very thorough and answered all our concerns we were very pleased with their quick and precise service There quick snaking did the job! We are very pleased with them!!!

    plumbing leak

    One week before Christmas I called Drainworks regarding dripping water in the basement. We had also noticed dampness in the dining room ceiling which was directly above it. Initially I was given an appointment a few days hence but promised that they would come sooner if a cancellation occurred. Within two hours they called back and said someone would be there within the hour. Right on time the plumber appeared and promised that he would not leave until the leak was located and fixed. True to his word, he painstakingly searched for the source, which was eventually tracked to a pinhole sized opening in a pipe above the dining room ceiling. Within minutes he replaced the defective section of pipe. Although it was necessary for him to cut several holes in the ceiling and walls in order to find the leak, he took pains to minimize the damage. He was professional and courteous and even made sure that he cleaned up afterwards. I don't know what damage we might have sustained had Drainworks not come to our rescue so promptly. Thank you Drainworks!

    Drain repairs

    We required some urgent drain repairs and a few days before Christmas. The folks from DrainWorks were prompt in doing what was agreed, completed the work in a thorough manner. There were twom coponents to the work and this was all done in one day. They were allocated the necessary manpower and equipment to get the job done. I can't claim that the cost of the job was a bargain but then again we usually get what we pay for. I would not hesitate to recommend DrainWorks Plumbing as there is goof value in a job being done well and done in a prompt manner.

    partial drain replacement/replaced lead pipe outside

    We found the staff polite and knowledgeable. They showed us everything on a scope and discussed with us what should be done right now and what we could postpone. The work was done in a timely manner and the house and property were kept clean. We know that the price to replace the lead pipe with copper was comparable to the City of Toronto's prices. Would certainly recommend Drainworkds to friends and neighbours.

    Several tap repairs

    Jeff Wright gave us a range of prices and features for tap replacement and advised us re this vs. repair of present ones. Although efficient, his work and manner were also friendly and gave us the impression that he was truly concerned with our plumbing situation. (Agreement #70950. Dispatch #278455)

    leaking into basement due to cracked rain leader pipe

    just before christmas, we had water leaking through the basement wall just where the downspout pipe went into the rain leader pipe. not only had this pipe cracked but it had partially collapsed and was almost blocked with mud. i was dreading a mess of long duration as the drain pipe under the basement was also blocked with mud and debris. i was assured that the work would be completed in one day- and it was -with minimum mess. the outside excavation and the 16 foot trench dug in the basement was left cleaner than i thought possible and completed in the one day as promised. the final inspection was even done sooner than the time i was told to expect someone, leaving me extra time for christmas preparations. i have used drainworks before and am very pleased with the quality of the work done, the professionalism of the technicians and the promptness of the service

    Replacement of Internal & External Drain Lines

    Armando came to do a video inspection of my drain lines which revealed broken lines in and outside the house. He was very professional,explained the nature of the work involved and provided accurate and complete estimates for both the internal and external work. Under his capable direction, his crew finished the job in one day. They kept me informed of the project, answered my questions and did a thorough cleanup at the end of the day. Also, Armando advised me of the steps to follow to appply for a city grant for tree roots in the external line from a city tree. I was very pleased with the great service provided by Armando and his crew.

    Pipe under the kitchen sink was leaking.

    The technician did a wonderful job. I was totally amazed at his expertise, the end product, and result of the completed task. This company listens and cares about their customers’ problems. I'll be a regular always.
