Review from HomeOwner Review left on 28 Jan 2021Rating: 5 out of 5Wide plank laminated with foam underlay on basement slab with engineered hardwood with regular wax paper underlay on main and 2nd. Efloor was recommended by our architect and we agree with others that their sales staff was great to deal with. A little disappointed more people don't put up reviews frequently here - whether good or bad. We dealt directly with Aaron and had Liviu and his team install. Aaron spent considerable time helping us select a good product during the supply issues over the COVID pandemic and was very helpful in helping us choose. Laminate was arranged and installed under a GC that we parted ways with, yet Aaron agreed to complete the unfinished part of the laminate and continue with hardwood at the price negotiated under the GC. Given the stranglehold GCs can have on their suppliers, this brought my rating from a 9 to a 10. Not every supplier continues with the 'little guy' (that's you homeowner) due to loyalty with the GC. Liviu was wonderful: explained the process, touched up things that needed touching up and sanded some of the underflooring that the GC didn't get level. He had great customer service, crafted some great nosing and hardwood vents and was patient as we installed in sections in order to move items around. He made me replace the protection tape I put on the hardwood afterwards to ensure I used one that wouldn't damage the surface. :)Review from Customer of Efloor Inc Customer of Efloor Inc

Great sales staff in the showroom. Rude installer and the worst follow up to remedy terrible installation. Aaron didn't return calls, emails or texts. Finally gave up when I really should have taken him to court. The only reason I even gave a 2 to the company is because the sales people are lovely and the rugs turned out beautifully. Unfortunately the wall to wall installation ensured that I would never shop here again and never recommend this company to anyone. Steer clear!Answer from pro:
It is very disappointing to read this review as we have served several satisfied customers over the last 20 years. It is a shame that a website such as this exists to enable the few clients who are writing a bad review in effort to ruin a hard working, small businesses. eFloor is a business that we have built based on exceptional customer service and find this review infuriating as it seeks only to destroy and not explain the reality of the actual job. That being stated, it is important to note that with this specific instance, there were a few issues to begin with that had nothing to do with our install: there was a problem with the sub floor that was not fixed prior to install especially in the master bedroom where the contractor attempted to fix a few times unsuccessfully. The project was rushed on their end as we were forced to install the carpet by doing the rooms first and the hallway afterward; this is detrimental to the install integrity as the carpet cannot then be stretched properly. It goes without saying that we notified all parties involved about this these issues, yet we were told to keep going. Additionally, we ordered new carpet for master bedroom repair three times at our expense and in the end, the angle was to change the carpet entirely. It is unfortunate that Home Stars' reviews do not always contain the whole story and seek to benefit those with a skewed perspective.

Review left on 20 Dec 2012Rating: 4 out of 5Basement Carpet Installation
I purchased my basement carpet from eFloor and they also installed the carpet. The work was completed about four years ago, and the product and labour have held-up. When the carpet was installed, they had to install some additional hardware (transition strips), which they readily purchased and installed. It was sometimes challenging to track down my contact at eFloor, but they do eventually return all calls.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

These guys are pompous, patronizing and unfriendly. They bullied themselves on us for an insurance job and were difficult every step of the way, going so far as to call us difficult to our face, because we didn't want them to gouge us. They overcharged us for a product that we wanted to to purchase elsewhere for a third the price. Overall a terrible experience.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner
Review left on 14 Sep 2008Rating: 5 out of 5Hardwood Flooring & Installation
We were renovating our 1920s North Toronto home and the hardwood had been sanded so many times by previous owners that there was virtually nothing left - we needed to replace all the hardwood in our house, not just the new addition. We visited eFloor and met with Aaron who showed us lots of hardwood samples and gave us great suggestions. His installer is meticulous - not only taking time to lay the hardwood right but also doing an amazing job staining the floor in a colour that nicely matched our gumwood trim. The result is simply fantastic. Best of all, eFloor was amazingly flexible about working with our general contractor to install the floors and then finish them around the other work that needed to be done (trim, paint, etc.). That flexibility combined with a truly quality job has made all the difference. Thank you eFloor!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner
Review left on 6 May 2008Rating: 5 out of 5Carpet install wall to wall ~ 400 square feet
After finding a nice carpet at Elte and ready to get things going, their estimate came back almost double what it should have been. Somehow 400 square feet became 800 square feet - its magic!! It was refreshing to walk into e-floor, and know the price they are quoting you is the installed price with underpad. Lily was tremendously helpful and the colours look great. Although we did have a few irregularities in the basement floor, the installers could have done a bit better job securing things up. We had to have them back to tighten up a few spots, but i must say they returned quickly and did fix the loose spots and efloor was great about following up to make sure wer were happy. I would have given a 10 if not for having to get the installers back. I would use e-floor again and recommend them. Update Nov 2009: a few spots on the stairs had come loose (staples came out) also one of our contractors ripped a run in our sisal carpet. We called efloor and they sent someone out that weekend who not only repaired the damage from our other contractor (you cant even tell) they repaired the stairs at no charge. Still very impressed with efloor.Review from Cathy Rust Cathy Rust
Review left on 29 Apr 2007Rating: 5 out of 5carpet for the dining room
I needed a carpet for the dining room but I was on a budget. Lilly came up with a very affordable solution of cutting and binding a piece of broadloom. I am really pleased with the end-result. I've used Efloor on three separate occasions and will be using them again in the future! Thanks for all the great work Lilly!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner
Review left on 8 Feb 2007Rating: 5 out of 5new carpet upper floor
We first used Efloors 4 years ago when building our Collingwood chalet. We were impressed with them then, but are even more so now, after recently re-carpeting our city home. A true sign of amazing service is not when everything goes according to plan but rather how a company handles itself when things don't. We had a problem with our carpet order and even though it was no fault of Efloors they took ownership and went out of their way to find a workable solution in a timely fashion. Thank you, Lilly, for your expertise on colour and design – I didn’t need to hire an interior designer because of your help and thank you Aaron for your absolute fairness and professionalism!Review from M. Untangle the carpet mystery and visit Efloor. Aaron's down to earth professional guidance was helpful in choosing appropriate carpet for a family room and staircase. What a pleasure dealing with him and his dedicated team. January 4, 2007 M.Meyer North YorkReview from HomeOwner HomeOwner

What most impressed me about efloor was the help I recieved from Lilly. I brought in a sample tile from a basement bathroom and she not only found the perfect carpet for the rest of the basement but recommended a paint colour. It made all the difference. The room looks great!
