    Fireplace Service

    Dwayne arrived on time, and completed service on my 26 year-old Selkirk fireplace. I hadn't had service on it before. Have always liked the flame effect on this fireplace and was wondering if it was time to replace it due to age. Dwayne cleaned it, added 'embers' and changed the wall switch which needed replacing to keep the fireplace safe. Hopefully, good to go for many more years. It is worth repairing a well-built, old, reliable gas fireplace..

    Fireplace repair

    Had a problem fireplace. Service was efficient, serviceman was knowledgable, price seemed reasonable. The work was clean and quick and I felt very confident that my problem had been addressed.

Some of the power vent units can be quite tricky to service and diagnose but Scott has had great success in repairing those units.     gas fireplace

    Dwayne was on-time, curteous and friendly. He worked efficiently, diagnosed the problem and had the part on his truck. We are happy with the service, but wish the cost had been a bit less.

    Fireplace Repair

    I have dealt with GasFix on two previous occasions over the last few years - both times to service and clean the two gas fireplaces which came with my house. I was always very impressed with the promptness with which Scott responded to both email requests and phone messages, and with the punctuality, professionalism and friendliness of the technicians. This time, when I called because one of the fireplaces would not work, was no exception. Dwayne was very thorough, taking time to explain to me exactly what the problem was, and what he was doing to fix it. He was patient and very friendly in answering all my questions. I will have no hesitation in calling GasFix next time my fireplaces are due for service, and if at any time I decided to replace one or other of the existing units, I would go straight to Scott. I would definitely recommend GasFix to anyone who needed this kind of service. Thank you, Scott and Dwayne, for the great, friendly, and efficient way you operate.

    Freplace ServicingL6M 5C7

    Fireplace was to be working as part of purchase agreement, was not. 4 of us tried to start it - no go. Called Gas Fix, found problem and did an excellent job of explaining what was done, and how to maintain in the future. Dwayne did a great job and would highly recommend.

    fireplace repair

    Gas Fix repaired my older gas fireplace which had a mercury flame switch that nobody else wanted to repair, just replace. This saved me replacing the whole unit. Scott was very professional and performed his work with great care. Quality work and fair pricing.

    With a gas fireplace that has a Mercury Flame Switch, there are two options: 1 - Repair / 2 - Replace. We prefer to repair and our Gas Fix technicians are experienced with Mercury Flame Switch conversions. Many fireplace customers are surprised to hear that a repair is even an option. It is! Though it is an expensive repair, it is still less expensive than replacing an entire unit. Whether the Mercury Flame Switch is in a Cambridge, Heatilator, Montigo, Security, Majestic, Instaflame, etc., our technicians can repair the unit and we have the required gas valve and pilot assembly on the vehicle to do so.     Gas fireplace service

    Dwayne arrived on-time on March 3, 2015. He was very polite and put down a blanket to protect our flooring. He talked me through the service - what he was doing and why. He quickly determined the problem and had it fixed in no time. He explained to me how to perform some preventative maintenance myself and avoid possible future problems. This is the second time we have called GasFix. I highly recommend them for their prompt response and quality workmanship.

    fireplace repair

    I inquired by e-mail and quickly had a follow up call to make an appointment. Dwayne arrived on time and quickly identified the problem. He spread out a cover sheet to ensure there was no mess during the repair and even vacuumed. He explained what was done and what to watch for and how to take care of things in future. Very efficient. I'd call again for anything in that area.

    gas fireplace overhaul

    Dwayne did a great job. Came when promised. Very efficient. Explained everything . Came prepared and cleaned up after job was complete. I was pleased with the results. Would use Gasfix again.

    Furnace repair

    On Feb. 17, 2015 our furnace broke down, we had prompt, professional and expert service from Gasfixrepair. Joe examined our furnace obtained the part and everything was done in 3 hours. Great work!
