We had Glen Echo do our original walkway 14 years ago and were very pleased at that time so we contacted them again as it was time for an update. Anthony was very patient and listened to what we wanted and had no issues when we did a redesign. The crew that came to do the work were outstanding! I would not hesitate to call them again for any other landscaping work we need. They were courteous and if they were not sure about something they asked. They completed the job in 2 days and we couldn't be happier.

I recently had new steps and walkway installed by Glen Echo. The work done by Anthony and his crew was amazing. They were very knowledgeable, listened to my requests and went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer. Anthony followed up on a daily basis to make sure things were progressing well. He responded promptly to e-mails and phone calls. I would highly recommend Glen Echo to anyone who wants to have a job well done!

Great nursery! We shop at Glen Echo at least 6 times a year. We buy flowers, veggie garden plants, dirt, mulch, Christmas greenery and much more! When we lost our Locust tree during the ice storm, we knew immediately where to buy a large replacement tree... Service was great, they answered all our questions, provided great advice and even remembered us the next time we were in. Thanks so much!

Anthony was very helpful in showing us photos online of various planting materials so we could choose what we liked. He designed a very creative garden to make our small lot look outstanding. We would definitely have Glen Echo do any further landscaping for us that we require. We are very happy with how our property looks.

I can't say enough of the great service and job that Glen Echo did on my front yard. The staff beginning with our landscape designer Anthony to the work crews provided above and beyond service. We recently worked with Rob McSpadden and the Glen Echo team to improve the curb appeal of our property. We’re delighted with the customer experience and the outcome - Rob and team were friendly, professional, hard-working, and very easy to work with. The finished product is terrific and has transformed our front yard while still blending perfectly with the existing landscaping and conservation area alongside our property. Thanks to Rob, Tom, Drew, and Floyd for a terrific enhancement to our property! We’re also new fans of the nursery itself and will now be regulars for our annual garden needs. Our backyard is in a relatively new subdivision and had only grass, wooden fence, shed and deck...absolutely no garden, shrubs or trees. Fortunately we decided on having Glen Echo design and plant a new garden for us. We are absolutely thrilled with the finished product. It has made our backyard a beautiful oasis for us to now enjoy. We have a number of people to thank for their efforts in bringing such warmth and beauty to our home. Well earned kudos to Anthony Zambri, the landscape designer who came up with the design and wide assortment of trees, shrubs, plants and rocks. He is a young, personable gentleman who listened carefully to our wishes and put much effort into the variety of products, their colour, their size, texture, placement etc. Our backyard what with its size and shape presented quite a few challenges. We are pleased to say that Anthony's design met and surpassed all of the challenges. He was prompt in coming up to measure and complete the design, took the time to go throughout the nursery to select the various trees, shrubs, plants and rocks with us personally. Each day the workers were here, he came to see the progress of the job and to see if we were satisfied, he even helped deliver the 3 Japanese maples we had purchased. His pleasant demeanor put us at ease if we had questions or concerns and made us feel that he wanted the best possible results for us. We have to say, Anthony came through indeed. We would be amiss if we did not also mention the work team of Casey, Rene, Raphael and Troy. I have rarely seen a team work harder and so well together. Casey, Raphael and Rene came on the first day and worked tirelessly the entire day in a constant rain. The blue spruce was planted, garden beds dug, fresh top soil added and the rocks placed. The second day, Casey, Rene and Troy did all the planting. Casey's expertise in planting is top notch. He had some very positive suggestions and answered any questions we had. Neighbors have had nothing but positive comments on the finished product. Thanks to Glen Echo Nurseries, Anthony, Casey, Rene, Raphael, Troy and Cheryl in the office, the transformation of our backyard has been everything and more than what we had hoped for. Thank you for all your efforts.

Went there to buy website: open till dusk that was 8:30pm on that day. Ask the owner if he was open. answer was No. Queried the hours. No! 7pm then walked away. To say the least he was rude to my husband and what does he treat his employees like? He may want to remember that 1 unhappy customer leads to many unhappy customers. At the very least he is setting a terribly bad example to young employee sitting waiting for his ride. There are a lot of other places to shop ie: Kennedy Road Garden Centre north of Mayfield Rd . They maybe small but they are not rude!!! There prices are also very good. Lost a customer of 18 years!!!!

Derek was very professional, punctual for all appointments, communicated in a timely manner and was true to his word. He personally helped us pick out the tress for our landscaping project and was mindful of our budget. We would not hesitate to recommend Derek Tiessen and Glen Echo Nurseries!
