We completely re-landscaped our front yard including driveway, porch and garden. Peter and his team were able to give us beautiful, contemporary front yard that is the envy of the neighborhood. Correspondence: Everyone from Green Apple Landscaping showed up on time for appointments and were often early. General correspondence was efficient through e-mails and during construction I could easily reach their team via their cell phone. It was a pleasure to see a company follow up with its clients and not have to chase people around to get an answer. Design Phase: This was the slowest part of the project as it took a number of revisions to get the design to where we wanted. The proposed designs were always beautiful but to keep within my overall budget was difficult. I think this would be my only negative concern as the original estimate (before a detail design was done) was significantly lower than any of the designs that were proposed. We moved forward with the work even though it was above my original budget. t I would have appreciated an early estimate that was either more realistic or designs that kept within the original budget. However, the end product was definitely stunning, incorporated my original design wants and is something I'm definitely proud of. If you look at their website you can see that their designs don't look like your grandma's front yard. Construction: Peter's crew started exactly when he said they would and they were able to get all of the work done in a week. My neighbors even commented on how efficiently they worked and how polite they were. They not only kept my yard neat during the construction they also made sure that at the end of the day the entire surrounding area/street was cleaned up as well. I've never seen contractors like this who start so early and finish so late all in the effort to get a job done on time even after encountering a couple hiccups during the work. If all contractors could be this efficient you'd have nothing to complain about. To Summarize: PROS: - Great team of employees including owner, designers and construction crew - Modern contemporary designs - Always on time and correspondence was excellent - Construction was super fast CONS: - Original preliminary estimate was significantly lower than the final proposed designs - Effort to revise the design to bring it down to my original budget were difficult

Did a complete landscaping to front and back yards, installed a new walkway and parking area, and planting. Peter, Victor and Justin were an absolute delight to work with and were very accommodating and easy to work with. One of the best companies we've ever worked with!

Initially contacted Green Apple to simply clean out a few flower beds and replant them adding some colour and pizzaz to the house. Immediately upon meeting Peter I was very impressed with some of their past work and listened to his ideas on how to make the most of our property. Unfortunately, we were not willing to implement all the optimal elements but still achieved a dramatic transformation. Peter has always been great to deal with as well and the other members of his team were equally professional and a pleasure to have around. Andrea and my wife went to the nursery together such that we got plants and flowers that were based on my wife's likes and not the designers and we are loving seeing the results this year. This was very important to us as we've dealt with many designers who base their designs on their likes not the clients. There were a few things that really stood out for me with Green Apple. First, the cost was well laid out and even though the project went over due to a measurement error on their part they did not revise the quote and ate the cost as Peter said it was his mistake. Second they came when they scheduled and were done as promised within the proposed timeline. Finally and most important any time we noticed something that we did not like or if something went wrong ( ie. bulbs prematurely going out on the outdoor lighting or plants not blooming) Peter promptly responded and resolved the issue quickly. The customer service before, during and after the project is exceptional.

I have been using Peter and Green Apple for many years and we recently had them complete a transformation of our backyard. Previously, Green Apple had done an amazing front landscaping job for us. The backyard was going to be more difficult due to the fact that we needed it to not only look good, but also to be functional for our 2 small children. Once again, we were amazed by the job that was undertaken by Green Apple. Our backyard is now an oasis for adults and it also perfect for young children. Andrea, Victor, Peter and everyone else from Green Apple who was involved in landscaping our back yard did a wonderful job. Everyone was very professional. From the initial design stages, to putting in a new patio, installing new lathe fences, choosing plants, planting and laying new sod, they heard and incorporated our preferences, made excellent suggestions when we weren't sure what we wanted, and listened to and acted on our concerns. After years of delaying landscaping our yard, we're very happy we chose Green Apple.

We took a major leap of faith with Peter and Greenapple several years ago based on his professionalism, forthright manner and impressive references. Andrea came up with an inspired design and perspective drawings for our difficult ravine site. We began the job in stages and have since come back to Peter twice again, most recently a few weeks ago (May 2011). His workers are professional, reliable and courteous, and his prices are competitive. The workmanship is lovely and it has stood the test of time. It's hard to ask for much more. We've recommended Greenapple to several people since.

We partnered with our neighbour to improve our mutual drive when they installed a parking pad. At short, notice we asked Green Apple to re-do our parking pad too. They responded quickly and professionally with a price and guidance. All the work was completed promptly by a hard-working, pleasant, and courteous crew.

Peter and Andrea both did a wonderful job with our front yard pad. From the initial sketches to the final product, the attention to detail was outstanding. In addition, the job was done on budget and ahead of schedule. We would recommend them without hesitation to anyone.

Our property needed a front yard parking pad. Green Apple did a wonderful job for us. The design they did was just what we wanted. This was done quickly and professionally. When it came time to perform the work, the crew was first rate; they were on site early, stayed late, they were very conscientious and careful. There were no surprises and they finished the job when they said they would. The quality of the work was also first rate, and the final product was exactly as we had hoped. I would recommend this company highly.

We contacted Green Apple based on reviews on Homestar to help us re-landscape our front yard, which was largely a pile of dirt adn ground cover. From the start, I was impressed with their professionalism - contracts that outlined exact costs and let us know exactly what we were getting. Our work involved new retaining walls, steps, woodwork and landscaping, and we were equally impressed wtih the design and craftmanship of all aspects. One of my biggest praises of Green Apple was for the team that executed the work. They were at our house at 7:30am every day, and often there at 6:00pm when I arrived home from work - no wonder the work was completed well ahead of my expecations. Not only were they fast, but the team was professional, polite, clean and a pleasure to have on our property. We are thrilled with the end result. Peter and Andrea provided us with a lovely design, and we have been enjoying our new garden this summer. Along the way, Peter suggested a few things (such as an irrigation system) that although added to the cost, made a huge difference in our enjoyment of the yard, and we now can't imagine not having it. We would absolutely recommend and work with Peter and his team again - hopefully the backyard soon!
