    Excellent AC repair with no upsell pressure

    Our situation sounds like a cliché: AC broke during a heat wave (that was also a long weekend). We wanted a quick and simple repair, without being pressured to buy a new system. After searching reviews for various other companies (Climax, Cozy Comfort, Reliance, etc.) we decided to take a chance with Husky. Although, given the number of positive reviews, perhaps it wasn't much of a gamble. I called Husky and spoke to Victoria, who was polite and professional. She took my information and gave me a service window of four hours. Within the first hour, Ruslan phoned me to report that he was on his way. Upon arrival, Ruslan quickly replaced the capacitor and got the AC unit working again. He was thorough, and checked the refrigerant levels and interior condenser coils. There was never any pressure to buy a new system or parts that we didn't need. My only criticism is that my credit card number was written down in order to process payment. I would rather pay with a portable point-of-sale terminal. However, I'm guessing that this approach is cheaper, and other companies might do the same thing. Overall, we are very happy with the service received, and would highly recommend Husky to others. Our HVAC system is over 20 years old. We will probably have it replaced within a year. When we do, Husky will be our first choice.

    Update: Turns out

    Husky came and installed a brand new Lennox furnace at my place a little under two years ago. The installers were professional and appeared to have done a decent job. Unfortunately, the furnace has been leaking water all over the floor for the last 3-5 months and when I called them to come have a look, they told me that they only guarantee their work for a year and that the rate would be $120 an hour because it was after hours. I was disappointed because it seemed that they had hung me out to dry. I turned to Homestars, where i left an honest review about how i felt . Later the next day i got a call from service manager at Husky who was concerned about the review, but also took the time to explain what was happening and that it wasn't my furnace and that it was my ac condenser drain plug(i believe) that was clogged. Understanding this makes it easier for me as a consumer to realize that this is something that was likely caused by all the dust in my renovations and that it wasn't anything that was caused by a poor install. all that being said, it would be nice if the people answering the phones had some product knowledge to help their clients understand their issues, because a response of "we only guarantee our work for one year" is absolutely unacceptable as a response. Find out what issues I'm having and try to get someone educated on the matter on the phone to help me understand why i need to pay another $100 for a service on top of the close to $5k I already paid for a new furnace. I was told that this is a very common issue, so this should be something even those answering the phone have some idea about. I was fine to pay the amount for the service once it was explained to me. At the end of the day, their installers are polite professionals who i felt did a good job. I'm giving them 8 stars because of this ordeal. Thank you to Homestars for giving us this platform to keep both merchants and customers honest.

Please understand we provided you with an additional one year of free diagnostic warranty at the time you purchased your equipment. Your install was Dec 2016, therefore the one year had already elapsed. There is always a diagnostic fee following the one year warranty period we provide after any installation (this is on top of the factory warranty). The Emergency After Hours Service Fee is $ 129.00+tax and was explained to you on the phone, but you declined Service turning to the internet to express your feelings not realizing that your own renovations were the cause of your flood issue. We want to impress to all clients the importance of not waiting 3-5 months as this client did. We would appreciate it Matthew if you can remove your photo's as this issue was nothing to do with our equipment. Thank you Homestars for giving us this platform to keep Merchants honest.     New A/C

    Husky did a great job in replacing my air conditioning, fast response, flexible schedule, good price. Thanks to Dominic, Jenissie and Clifford for the excellent work. We would highly recommend Husky Heating and Air conditioning to our friends.

    Heating/Air conditioning/Tankless Water heating

    We were looking for a quote to upgrade our furnace and AC and took several quotes from the market. Husky beat all the quotes and also we decided to install the tank-less water heater. The estimates given to us including AC/Furnace/Tank-less water heater was less than others who provided the quote for AC and Furnace. The installation was great and people who came for installation was really great and pleasing. I would strongly recommend husky. They are really great to deal with and they give you the best quote available in the market.

    AC Maintenance

    I would highly recommend Husky for their professional work and amazing customer service. The technicians are very helpful and were very quick to resolve all the problems that we had. Keep up the great work!

    new furnace and airconditioning

    extremely satisfied from start to finish. price was excellent and installation was also excellent- technicians were competent, courteous and efficient. They came on schedule and cleaned up all the old parts and debris. Would highly recommend this company

    New Lennox furnace and AC

    My air conditioner failed last week, probably the heat wave took its toll on it (it was 20+ years old, I am not sure), also our furnace was probably even older and mid efficiency, as such we decided to replace both. Did some research, talk to some friends, and thru some references we got Dmitri's contact. He gave me a fair quote and 3 days later a new Lennox furnace and AC got installed in our house by Husky - thx Sam and Daniel for doing a great job.

    Outstanding AC repair on short notice

    I had an absolutely outstanding experience with Husky. Earlier this month, on the hottest weekend of the year (humidex of 45), a terrible coincidence occurred when our AC unit stopped working on Saturday of the Canada Day weekend. That night, by pure chance, we saw a social media recommendation for Husky, saying to give them a try. We called them Saturday night at 10 pm and someone picked up (they have 24/7 service), and they said they could send someone over the following morning (Sunday, July 1 - Canada Day). We couldn't believe our luck. The technician, Dave, who came quickly evaluated the issue (broken capacitor) and replaced it on the spot. AC worked right away. Total cost was under $300 for part and labour, which given it was provided on a holiday on short notice, was more than a fair price. Overall, I would highly recommend Husky for HVAC purposes. They were friendly, responsive and quick. Really outstanding.

    New furnace and AC

    My AC decided to “bite the dust” the Friday before the sweltering long weekend so I had to scramble to get a replacement. I wanted a brand I could trust at a fair price and landed on Husky dealing with Dmitri who pulled together the right Lennox units at a fair price. Sam and his assistant did a great job installing both units and addressed some venting issues with my old furnace.....thanks guys!
