    Excellent, fast and professional service

    My elderly parents were without heat in end of Dec for 10 days!!! Their furnace broke down and they called the company whom they have had insurance with for 15 years. That company was useless and kept them waiting for some back ordered parts for many days. I called Husky and within an hour Dimitry was at my parents house to give a comprehensive quote. He was professional and friendly. We had his technicians install a new high quality furnace and hot water tank the next day! We are very happy with the service.

    Water heater installation

    I'm a returning customer and Husky previously did several projects for me like A/C installation, humidifier and gas line. Every time my experience was excellent and you can find my previous review with excellent rating. This time I installed tankless water heater RUC80 with Husky and unfortunately my experience was not so great. It's all started with the quote I received. I didn't get any discounts from the quote provided initially even taken into account that I'm a returning customer. It's even higher than some quotes listed here in other reviews. Since I don't have any other contractor I can trust yet I accepted the quote and proceeded with installation. I won't go in too much detail here but just list positive and negative experience: Positive: * Installation crew arrived on time * Installation was done fast (within 4 hours) * Generally installation team listened for my preferences regarding unit location, pipes layout etc. * Sales rep. (Dmitri) response time was very good * When gas leak was reported it was fixed the next day just before holidays * Installation team agreed to make me a favor - extend water lines a little bit and connected it to existing T-connection. I really appreciate that. * There was very short waiting time for the installation day. For me it was done within a week from my order. Cons: * Didn't get any discount and upset by seeing lower quotes here * Installation crew spoke Spanish in front of me all the time * Installation crew didn't have all the pieces (chipboard) and had to make a trip to Home Depot * Exhaust wasn't assembled well with intake pipe entering the unit at an angle * Unit was hung too low (close to the floor) even after I asked to place it higher before anything was connected to it. After everything was assembled it's clear that it could've been hung higher by at least foot. * I wasn't warned that no electrical connection will be made by the team and I had to find extension cord or hire electrician to make a new receptacle if I want to use it. * Installation team didn't have right tools for the job. (Holes in the wood were made by sawzall which won't leave nice cuts) * A gas connection they made had a leak. It was detected by the installation team but was fixed incorrectly so they left my house with an active gas leak * Second time when installation team came to fix gas leak they told me there is no leak and I had to proof them there is one. Gas leak is a very serious issue and it definitely wasn't treated as such. * I asked installation team to show me how to increase water temperature from 120F to 140F but they never showed me.(probably forgot) * Installation team is using SharkBite for water line connections. I just don't trust those connections and also they are known to cause cancer. It's definitely not the best way to do plumbing. There are more cons than pros here but I'll still give a 5/10 review since the work was done and water heater is working fine but I'm disappointed and I wish I had better experience with Husky.

    New Furnace (w/ Air Cleaner & Humidifier) and Air Conditioner

    My neighbour had a great experience with this company just a few years ago. So I decided to call them when it was time to get rid of my 30 year old furnace and air conditioning this past Fall. Dmitri was very professional and gave me a job quote that was well documented and explained. Then Sam and Ali did a great job installing the new equipment. They left my basement cleaner than when they arrived! They went beyond the call of duty to remove my lumbering old air conditioner from an awkward spot under a deck - even removing some interlocking brick to do so. And the new furnace is working wonderfully.

    Replace furnace and waterheater

    Dmitri and I had a good discussion about products and needs. Description of products was clear, although I have some reservations about the water heater. Responsiveness was excellent. Installation was excellent for the furnace particularly the work done by Sam. For the water heater installation was good. Overall I would use again and recommend.

    Service

    Excellent service technician, David L. Explained everything and didn't leave until everything was working properly with my furnace. Very happy with the service we receive from Husky. They are always helpful and prompt.

    Upgrade Furnace

    I saw their information at Costco I called for an appointment price was very competitive and sales staff was very helpful. They booked an appointment to replace my old furnace quickly. The installers were amazing even though it was snowing heavy they did the job with in a couple hours and made zero mess. Very happy and would recommend their service.

    New furnace installation.

    Our 13 year old Lennox Merit furnace has been dying for a while and it was time for a replacement. After reading several furnace reviews online, I decide that a Carrier furnace was to be our replacement. I called a couple of Heating and Air Conditioning companies. Demitri from Husky got back to me promptly with a reasonable quote for the purchase on installation of a new Carrier furnace. The new unit was installed by a couple of guys from Husky who were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The new unit is heating our home like a furnace should. Good job Carrier and Husky.

    Furnace from Costco

    We purchased our new furnace through the program at Costco. We found the pricing to be competitive and the bonus of a Costco card and Ontario Government rebate made the furnace reasonable. Husky's installers did a great job, cleaned up after themselves and disposed of our old furnace. We are very happy with the sales and service they gave us!

    Furnace replacement

    Couldn't be happier with Husky. Dmitri came out on short notice to give me a quote, and when compared to other quotes, he was offering the best value for money at any level - the 'economy' model or the high end furnace. I had also asked about a tankless water heater, and he offered a better model at a better price than his competitors. He also made sure that I was aware of all the rebates that I could pursue (nearly 50%) to lower the final cost of the replacement furnace. After selecting Husky for the job, the installers (Edyn and Alex) were able to come out in just 2 days, and did the job quickly and neatly - the only evidence they were there was the new furnace. They identified an issue with switching to a tankless water heater, and recommended solutions. While I chose to wait on the tankless water heater, they got to work on the furnace and did a great job. No mess left behind at all. Lastly, Katerina in their office took care of all the paperwork - applying for rebates, arranging my financing, and registering my furnace with the manufacturer to ensure that the warranty is active. Couldn't be happier with Husky, and looking forward to working with them in the future for my tankless water heater!

    Replacement of furnace, air conditioner [Lennox] and hot water tank [Rheem]

    We are extremely satisfied with the excellent service and installation we received from Husky in October. Some additional modifications had to be done on my request to plumbing and furnace filter installation. The installers were courteous and did a really good job.
