I wanted information on insulating, the sill plate, in the basement. We could feel the cold air coming in. Bruce explained the benefits of spray foam, including it didn't need a vapour barrier. Very knowledgeable and professional. He, along with his boss, Alex, also arranged for me, to see a home, that they had just done. They went above and beyond to make sure I was going to be satisfied. The installers were pleasant and professional. Bruce and Alex, both called after to make sure we were satisfied. I had the attic done, as well, with the same excellent results. I would strongly recommend the professionals, to everyone.

Insta-Insulation was one of several companies which we received competitive bids on. They were not the least expensive, but they did provide very good comfort level in they knew what they were doing. Price was only marginally negotiable and ultimately we felt they were the best service provider. Installation was for the BASF Walltite ECO 2lb. Polyurethane Spray Foam for the walls of a basement. It was installed in 2-inch thickness and included Roxul around water heater exhaust vent. We were scheduled for a morning install on the Friday of a long weekend, and had a hotel booked out-of-town for that evening to be out of the house as the product cured. By noon, we had not heard or seen anything from the Insta-Insulation team so we ended up contacting them to be informed the truck had been held up in traffic in the morning and they were running late. It would have been nice to be informed of the delay. The team did arrive by about 1:00pm and setup their equipment after a quick inspection. Within the first 10 minutes, they equipment shutdown – this on a truck we were told was just brought into service. The two technicians worked on the problem for about an hour trying all kinds of fixes. They were getting ready to having to cancel for the day when they found one of the pumps had shutdown, and they were able to fix it on the spot. They continued on with the spray activities for the next few hours and were finished up very late in the afternoon. Insta-Insulation followed up the next week to make sure we were happy with the service that it lived up to our expectations, which it has. They further requested that we provide online reviews to their services and had requested that if we provided a 10 star rating we would receive a $5 coffee gift card – I thought this was a bit much and may entice others to artificially inflate their ratings. Overall, we are very happy with the product installed. It has been over four months and we can feel the difference in the basement. Well worth the investment.

We got 3 quotes, Insta Insulation was not the cheapest, but Ken (Salesman) was very knowledgeable and impressed us, so we went with them. We were not disappointed, awesome job!!!

We used this company to spray foam our basement when we were finishing it. They were fantastic in every regard; from the initial estimate right to the end of the job. It is by far the most comfortable area of our home regardless of the season. We are so happy with the result, we've called them back to do our attic!

Have an existing mud room at the back of the house that we've winterized to use as an office. The construction of the mud room was such that Spray Foam was the only option to insulate the space. Also while I was getting an estimate for that job, I had the attic checked out, and discovered that I did not have the recommended amount of insulation in the attic. Insta-Insulation applied Spray foam to the underside of the floor, and the ceiling above. The crew did a great job. They applied the spray foam in 2 passes to leave time for the first coat to expand and harden before applying the second pass. If not applied properly Spray foam is known to have a bad smell, and you must be out of your house for 24 hours after installation, but I did not have any such issues. I also had a second crew from Insta-insulation come out a few days later to top up the insulation in my attic. Both jobs only took about an hour each (small house). Both crews did a wonderful job, and left the job site clean. Highly recommended.

First time dealing with this company and I have to be honest.... I chose it because of the Holmes & Baulmer referral. Crew arrived right on time, were very clean & respectful. They did an excellent job cleaning out the old insulation and left my house like they were never there. Very impressed!! Just had the blown insulation put in. Again, very impressed. I would recommend this company to others.
