How fortunate we were in this otherwise very unfortunate situation, to have Mr. Gockel’s expertise, knowledge, commitment and patience. Both he and his assistants were professional throughout the entire project, showed up early every morning and worked a full day every day. Our home both inside and out was treated like it was their home, extreme detail was carried out protecting the home from any undue dust and debris and each evening most everything was cleaned up in preparation for the next day. On the last day several hours were spent cleaning the entire work area. it was a very trying situation for us but all along the way Andreas explained what was required and why and how it would be done and even called in for a "second opinion" on one occasion.

The work was performed on time. I was always kept informed of their progress. The quality of the work was very good and overall I was impressed with the work which was done on our home.

We planned for a deck renovation and saved for a year. Kerr Construction not only did a amazing job on the deck, they ensured the details were covered. The level of craftsmanship is worth every penny.

We hired Kerr Construction to tear down our house right to the concrete foundations, and rebuilt it 50% bigger. From demolition to move-in was only 6 months(!). Job was done cost-plus (our choice) and it was really well-managed. No headaches, no big problems. And our new home won a Georgie Award when it was finished! We love it.

We called Kerr Construction after we fired our first contractor. The job was under construction when they were called. They not only listened to us, our wants, needs and budget, but made promises that exceeded our expectations. We did not have electricity or windows when they arrived, but they promised us that we would have heat, electricity and windows by Christmas so that we would live in comfort. They not only considered our needs, but they were on time, on budget and exceeded our expectations. Our home is now a beautiful Craftsman in Kitsilano that we are very proud of, and it is very comfortable and very much our style. Kerr won a Georgie award for the work they did on our renovation and we could not be happier. They had ideas that we loved and in the end we were almost pleased that the first contractor had to be fired so that we were lucky enough to get Kerr. They also came when it was almost impossible to get a contractor. The Olympic construction was on and everyone was busy, but Kerr never made us feel that anything was impossible. There were a few changes along the way as they had great ideas that we did not consider, but they made us feel we were their most important client. Our home is a 1912 Craftsman and we were not sure what we would find behind the walls, but Kerr is very professional with before, during and after construction advise. They even gave us ideas for the furniture and decorations upon completion. You must be able to trust you contractor, or you will have very big problems. We trust Kerr with our most expensive assets, our home!

I had a big renovation done by Kerr Construction. It was done in a timely manner and my every dream was met from design to completion. The pricing was good. The Project sup and crew were exceptional and I was pleased with their work. I enjoy my house every day and would highly recommend this company. We have an award winning renovation which completely turned a tired, dated house into something with lots of wow factor.

The project took way to long to complete and they ended up charging almost $10,000 more than their initial estimate. They also damaged our kitchen floor and never told us about it.

I was very happy with this company. Their customer service was great. They are very organized, professional and responded to our problems in a timely manner.
