I am a contractor and we hired Kitchen Designers Plus to design and install a custom kitchen for one of our client. From the design to the finished product, my client was very impressed. Victor the installer did a great job and the Norcraft cabinets look amazing. John made sure that all our questions and concerns were dealt with immediately. We will definitely be hiring John and Kitchen Designers Plus for our next kitchen project.

Wow! What a transformation! John and his team were very professional and had great knowledge and experience in kitchen design. Their vision in how to transform a truly difficult kitchen situation into a stunningly beautiful and functional kitchen far surpased what we thought would be possible in that space. The installers (Paul and Bruce) did an excellent job as they were precise, quick, and clean. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful and has completely uplifted our home beyond our expectations. We worked with Pat from Kitchen Designers Plus in Mississauga in renovating our 1980’s kitchen this past fall. We had a smaller kitchen and limited space to work with. Better use of space and a functional and modern design were what we were looking for. Pat’s design exceeded all of our expectations in terms of function, space, storage and overall look. She was always available to meet and discuss, and she listened and guided us towards options that would work for us, from the kitchen design itself, including cupboards, hardware, appliances, lighting, flooring options etc, to colour schemes for adjacent areas like our dining room and hallway. Pat helped put the whole package together. As well, the trades that she brought in were very professional and pleasant, worked diligently and to high standards of quality, and all in a timely manner – all was completed on time. We couldn’t be more pleased and would highly recommend Pat and her team.

We completely gutted our 45+ year old kitchen and entertained bids from 2 companies to come up with a design for our new kitchen. Pat Noddle was the designer we worked with at Kitchen Designers Plus and her professionalism won the bid. She was always the most prepared for our meetings and came up with many creative solutions for our challenges. We worked through multiple drafts of the design and settled on a project plan. However once the job started unexpected issues crop up as the always do when renovating an older house and Pat was always there to help with a design idea to solve the challenge. The cabinets are beautiful and the installation by their installer Johnny was incredible. He is a master carpenter and the care he puts into each mitre cut is amazing. He is also very creative in helping to solve issues created by unsqare walls in an older house. The most important characteristic of Kitchen Designers Plus is their committment to service. When we had problems with the general contractor we hired to support other aspects of the project, (demolition, painting, electrical), they stepped in to ensure the job got finished properly. This was not something they were obligated to do but shows their committment to getting the job done right. Thanks to Pat. John and Johnny for all their hard work! We also want to thank Elmwood Kitchens (Cabinet Manufactures) for their great work.

We have a small kitchen that I had been agonizing over for years. We had contacted a couple of renovators with no luck, Finally we met up with Pat at Kitchen Designers Plus. She guided us through the process of cabinet choice and design expertly. She presented us with options we hadn't even though of and helped with the choice of granite, sink and fixtures. Her ideas worked and we now have a stunning and efficient small kitchen. In fact I now have empty cupboard space and those pesky pots and pans are easy to get at. The renovation went smoothly and efficiently and Pat was there to answer any of our questions. The contractors were great and our house was left neat and tidy every evening when they left. The job started on time and ended on time, everything worked like clockwork, came in on budget and I love my kitchen - it is stunning. What more can you ask for.

John from KDP provided us with excellent service. From his initial drawings to delivery and installation. The Elmwood cabinetry was what we had hoped for. Thank you to Frank who did the installation, professionally done, clean and courteous.

While we have a fabulous family home and phenomenal neighbours, I was relentless in moving. I felt our 20 year old home was dated and beyond a makeover. My husband suggested having a kitchen/bathroom/floor make over, worst case scenario, it would only add value to our home. We sourced 3 kitchen design companies, and I have to say, that from the 24 hour turnaround time, to the vision of the renovation, to the execution and delivery, Kitchen Designers Plus, clearly rose above all others. John Vanderkolk was in touch with me within 12 hours of sending the email, he was at our home within 24 hours, and the vision I had in mind was electronically produced within one week. I told John what was important to me, and he encapsulated every last detail. In fact, he had ideas, that I had not even thought about. John, not only designed the kitchen, but he assisted us with interior designs that matched our home, from picking floor tiles and backsplashes, assisting is with picking complimentary granite and of course the lighting. What I didn’t mention already, is that we had six weeks to execute the project. From conception to design to visitors coming from abroad, we had a zero margin for any problems, and of course, during any reno of this scale, there are problems. I have to say though John handled every obstacle with professionalism and solvency, even two weeks into our project, when I had a brain storm idea to knock out a wall!! It happened! The entire experience, Frank, our installer, Elmwood Cabinetry, the amazing contractors, Concept Lighting, Tiles Plus, Homewood Suites (who looked after us for four weeks) and the many other people who were involved in this project, made my dream come to reality! Without hesitation, we would recommend John Vanderkolk and his team at Kitchen Designers Plus !

Our kitchen was approximately 20 years old and needed updating. We visited a number of kitchen companies, but decided on Kitchen Designers Plus because of the cooperation and "no pressure" sales tactics offered by John. In addition, John worked very closely with us to ensure all our ideas were incorporated into the final design. John's innovative thinking was also appreciated. The concept design pictures were extremely beneficial in helping us envision the final outcome. The reno's including gutting the complete kitchen, including removal of bulkheads, flooring throughout the kitchen and hallway and construction of a new wall to make the new kitchen more functional. The crew took exceptional care in protecting other parts of the house from dust and debris during the demolition process. In terms of installation, Gino and his crew did a fantastic job installing approximately 800 ft2 of travertine tile. Their workmanship ranks extremely high versus other tile jobs I have seen or been involved with. Needless to say the final product looks superb. Paul, Bruce, and Frank did a great job installing the Norcraft custom maple cabinetry and custom crown molding. They all took great care with the installation and each of them had very high expectations of the workmanship and final installation. Lam and his crew did an exceptional job cutting and installing the granite counters. They also did a great job ensuring the fit was to perfection in all areas. Last but not least we would also like to recognize Rob who executed all of the electrical work. He did an exceptional job coordinating all the electrical work around the other trades including 2 new cable runs (50 amp service) from the panel through a finished basement with drywall ceilings. Rob was also very in tune with our needs and adjusted the positioning of new lighting fixtures to satisfy our needs. We are extremely pleased and excited about our new kitchen! We would recommend Kitchen Designers Plus to anyone considering a new kitchen or a renovation of a kitchen. Excellent design and excellent finished product. We found John from Kitchen Designers Plus to be very responsive to our needs and requests from the beginning of the project (design) to the end. Our Elmwood Cabinetry is beautiful. There installer Johnny was extremely good at what he did and we would hire him again. We are very pleased with our new Kitchen.
