We were very confident with the completion of the initial design and drawings including some ideas that were not initially under consideration but made a challenging layout really work much better. It game us more cabinets and a much more useable kitchen. The end result is a kitchen that works extremely well based on design ideas and the schedule was maintained which was extremely important even though we made several last minute changes. Would recommend using John to any friends as he was able to keep all of our criteria in mind and provide very helpful advice. We are thrilled with our new kitchen!

We wanted to get our original 1970s style kitchen into the new century, and after meeting with several companies, decided on Kitchen Designers Plus, and their Oakville location. We based this on face to face meetings, along with other reviews we read, and an overall sense we got from meeting with Kelly. Kelly walked us through all the design options, from overall look/design, options for cupboards, backsplash, lighting, floor, countertop, electrics and all the extras available. No pressure tactics used, we were presented with the options and made the decisions on a step by step basis, using Kelly's design expertise to assist. The install started on the day it was scheduled, and work was completed on schedule, no delays, and no budget over run. We were impressed with that, having had others tell us of renovation horror stories! We were provided updates by Kelly and project manager Joe on a regular basis, and felt comfortable in discussing any issues or concerns we had with them. At the final review, we did notice a cracked tile in the backsplash, somewhat hidden, but as we did see it, the team took the time to remove the tile, take a new tile offsite to drill and replaced it (glass tiles can be tricky when drilling). They ensured we were completely satisfied with the work, and we felt like we were fully supported by the entire team (installers, electricians, plumbers and the management team). Great team to work with, and we are completely satisfied with the results, and again, the people on the project were exceptional!

Attention to detail and customer satisfaction best describe the superb work of our design consultant Kelly McLay at Kitchen Designers Plus, Oakville. Kelly and her team took the time to truly understand what we were looking for and happily guided us through every step of the project. Exceptional quality, excellent time lines, and ongoing communication demonstrated their desire to make our dream kitchen a reality. I would without hesitation recommend Kelly and her team and would rank our experience a 9/10.

Our kitchen was renovated by KDP 8-10/2011. We love it. Pat was very helpful in designing the kitchen cupboards and set up and coordinating the contractors. They listened to what we wanted and made any last minute changes as we went along. The project started and finished on time. The men and women doing the work were very pleasant to have around. The quality of the cabinets and hardware is great. The project came in on budget. Follow up to adjust and repair things has been timely.

I have a very small kitchen, less than 10 x 10, and although I didn’t need bigger I did need a space that was more efficient and modern. I had an idea of what I wanted and Kelly helped bring my ideas to life. We had some challenges – I am very tall and my husband is in a wheelchair –so this very small space had to accommodate both our needs. Kelly had the answers - and although she couldn’t give me the self- cleaning kitchen I was after - she did make helpful suggestions about floor & counter types. When I was unsure about the backsplash, the handle styles and counter colour she took the time to point out pros & cons that were specific to my needs. I have a dream kitchen- the kitchen fairy didn’t make it bigger or self- cleaning but she did make it beautiful and oh so efficient- it is a joy to work in. My thanks to Kitchen Designers Plus and Kelly – it is nice to deal with professionals.

In 2009, Pat Noddle redesigned my small kitchen significantly improving both its functiionality and beauty. She moved the location of the sink that then created a nice size counter run thus improving the kitchen's functionality. As well, she listened to my ideas and incorporated these tweeks into the design. I am still as thrilled with it today as in 2009. Pat was great to work with.

John Vanderkolk from the Mississauga office was our project manager. To start, John gave us some very specific design suggestions that we initially resisted. Once John explained his thinking, he won us over and a year later, we are extremely satisfied with the layout changes he recommended. In terms of the budget, we received other quotes. As John outlined in the quote, they use high quality products and suppliers - you don't have to constantly be "upgrading" everything. By contrast, our experience with another supplier during the quote phase was that they automatically assumed we wanted the cheapest of everything so all of the features we wanted would be upgrades. With John's quote, we felt confident we were getting a high quality kitchen and bathroom, without the constant "nickle and dime-ing" over every upgraded feature once the job started. During the job, John's consistent and clear communication really exceeded my expectations. Once the job began, he laid out a timeline of the different phases and kept us up to date with a quick phone call every day or as needed. Just a few minutes each day was enough for us to give him feedback on the work from the previous day and ensure that we were ready for the next steps. Not surprisingly, there were a few hiccups in the job - table not the right size and wrong tile on the back splash. John handled these events with calm and patience, reassuring us that it was his priority to ensure we got what we wanted. Although each of these events could have turned into mini disasters, the way that John handled them turned them into positives - again, his support and drive exceeded our expectations. The job was done on time and on budget. We love our new kitchen and powder room and look forward to using Kitchen Designers Plus for our next project!

We had a great kitchen and bath renovation experience with Pat Noddle at kdplus in Mississauga. We walked into the Dundas street location with nothing but a desire to renovate. Pat helped us think through a design that fit our needs; not just where to put the fridge but also, where to put the computer, where to hide all the cords, and where to keep the shoes that pile up at our kitchen's backdoor. Pat also helped us pick materials and finishes by showing options and making us feel very comfortable saying yes or no....it was defintely our kitchen, not hers, which is not always how you feel with design consultants. We would definitely use Pat again for a kitchen or bath reno. She was professional, patient, and helped guide us through a process that we had never been through before.

We would highly recommend Kelly from Kitchen Designers Plus in Oakville to all our friends. At the start of our design process we had approached many kitchen cabinet companies, but Kelly was the one that really took our space and designed a kitchen that met our vision aesthetically and functionally, and within our budget. We found KDP online and after browsing through their past projects, we had to go see their showroom. We were not just looking for a kitchen renovation, but a kitchen redesign. We needed a kitchen that was much more functional, something that our 30-year old kitchen seriously lacked. Kelly’s design met and surpassed that goal with her recommendations throughout the project. Our kitchen is now a dream to cook and entertain in. From start to finish the design and installation team did a beautiful job and we are very pleased with the quality of their products. As with all construction projects, there are always some deficiencies near the end, and our installers did an amazing job not only with the installation itself, but as well with correcting those few deficiencies and all within our tight schedule. I have worked in the construction industry for over 15 years and our kitchen project was a pleasure to get through. We had a very tight deadline that we had to meet in order to have our kitchen completed in time for an event at our home, and Kelly worked diligently to ensure that this deadline was met. We look forward to working with Kelly and Kitchen Designers Plus Oakville again in the future when we are ready for some other projects in our home.

My experience with Pat Noddle at Kitchen Designers Plus has been a very positive one. Having come in with "an idea" and Pat bringing it to life was wonderful. Pat was able to incorporate all of the design and 'functional' pieces into our new kitchen and fit it into our reasonable budget plan. I was always able to get Pat's advice on sinks, faucets, appliances etc. to ensure that everything fit into the new space whenever I called or emailed (before, during and after design and installation). The installer, Johnny Cheng was terrific. Reliable and meticulous, installing the kitchen as if it were going into his own home. Johnny is a true craftsman who takes pride i nthe work he does. Throughout the design and installation process, Pat and Johnny worked with us to ensure we were happy with what we were getting and how it was shaping up.
