I contacted Kiya because they were well reviewed. The gentleman called me back promptly and we scheduled an appointment for the following day. He arrived on time which was excellent. My dissatification was around the price he charged me. It arrears my issue was around the fact that I blow the "arc breaker". I was not able to locate the breaker (it wasn't only the breaker panel) as it was a new home. The guy was at my house for 15 mins and charged me $280 which was a complete sticker shock. I even inquired to the price prior to him starting but he would not give me a direct answer. I generally would have no problem but I found this to be unreasonable to show me where to switch a breaker. I would probley not use him again because he will likely overcharge again.

Kia and his team did a great job. We initally thought the house only had 25% knob and tube, but once they started working it was clear that the house was almost entirely wired with knob and tube. The team worked quickly to upgrade all the electrical wiring, add new sockets, and install fixtures throughout the house. Any holes that were made to our walls were patched up. Kia is very reliable and easy to work with. He even added a few extras (pot light & porch light) at no additional cost. I highly recommend Kiya Sunrise Electrical.

A few weeks ago I was in search of a reliable and affordable electrician to install several pot lights in our basement. I ran across Kiya's advertisement on home star and called. Unlike others, he promptly returned my call and came to look at the job the very next day. He was honest and was willing to work within our budget. He even went as far as to take care of some additional wiring issues that I had intended on tackling at a later date. Kia and his team did an amazing job and even finished and cleaned up all in one day!!! We are very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a great job. One other thing that I felt distinguished them from others was that they called a week or two later to see how things were working out! Now, I am not sure of other peoples experiences as home owners in dealing with companies to maintain or update your homes but I thought that was very thoughtful and genuine of them!! THANK YOU:)

I planned to put few pot light in my living room, but i have no idea, i called for kiya for help and they came the estimated and give me suggestion, it was fast, nice and clean, i would recommend to my friend!

Kiya was very punctual, finished the job as agreed, on-time and on budget. Cleaned-up, and did some extra things that he did not charge for. I will definetely use him for all of my future electrical needs.

Kiya was able to come and install 2 bathroom ceiling fans the day after I called him. I had to have one installed before the attic insulation was done so that the duct work could be done properly, and Kiya said no problem. His expertise was put to work, as the wiring for the existing light switch had been done incorrectly, but he knew where to find the junction box so that a timer could also be installed. He did an excellent job on both of my fans, and offered to put in proper duct work to replace the existing duct in the basement, to optimize the function of the new fan. While he was in the basement, he noticed that there was a live wire coming out of the electrical panel that had been cut, and was just hanging in the air! He promptly, and safely removed it, and showed me which breaker it had come from. He also came back another day to install a new light fixture in the basement bathroom, for no extra charge. I will definitely have Kiya do all of my future electrical work, and would highly recommend him to others.

Kiya has done my electrical works exclusively for over 25 years. As a designer/general contractor the quality of workmanship, knowledge of and attention to applicable codes, satisfied inspectors and fair prices are important to my business and I have chosen Kiya exclusively because he provides me with all of that. He is equally competent with small and lareg jobs. I do not even shop around; electrical works are matters of safety by not cutting corners in material and labor and I trust him 100% with that.

I had two walls in my living room with no power. Called Kiya based on the Homestar reviews. He not only fixed the problem (an overloaded circuit) but discovered miswiring within my panel. He also installed a dimmer switch and replaced another outlet that was troublesome. Can't say enough good things: on time, knowledgable, fast, considerate and very reasonably priced. I wouldn't call anyone else! He is the best!

I was in need of some minor but perhaps complicated electrical work at my office and needed some repairs on several visible wires.
