pot lights in living/dining , chandelier in dining

Kiya is the best electrician in town. He & his crew installed 17 pot lights in the living/dining room & chandelier in the dining room. My living & dining room now looks stunning, thanks to Kiya. He explained everything to us from the choice of pot lights to installation. His price is competitive & he & his crew are polite & they cleaned up after. Kiya will come back again to upgrade our panel & do the electrical in the master bedroom.

    knob and tube removal

Based on what I read on this site, I hired Kiya and his crew to remove the knob and tube and rewire my house. I was worried that maybe he sounded too good to be true, but he was as excellent as all the reviews said he was. Although my inspector said there was "some" knob and tube, it turned out the whole house was knob and tube, so it was a much bigger job than I'd anticipated. However, Kiya honored his original quote even though they had to work an extra day. They did a terrific job. Kiya paid a lot of attention to detail, and he gave me useful guidance on where I needed outlets, etc. Now the job's finished, and my house looks terrific. They did a great job patching and repairing in the areas where they had to work, and they actually left my house cleaner than they found it. His crew was polite and hard-working, so it was a pleasure dealing with them every day. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend Kiya's company.

    Potlightts and outlets

Kiya and his team did a wonderful job adding many potlights to our living room, outlets inside and outside, new fan and light fixtures and so on. Affordable, fast and friendly. Strongly Recommended. Michael

I contracted Kiya to install kitchen lighting and he did a great job; professionally, as explained prior to the renovation and finished it on time. Excellent work Kiya, thank you.

    Knob and tube replacement

Another satisfied customer! Kiya re-wired our 100-year old Parkdale Art & Crafts home for the quoted price despite the job taking 3 days longer than expected. The care and attention shown by his Kiya and his crew resulted in minimal patching to walls and ceilings and, as promised, no damage whatsoever to the extensive wood paneling on the main floor. He found problems several other licensed electricians had missed and left us confident that the house has been expertly re-wired and is good for another 100 years. Loads of integrity, a master electrician and a nice guy to boot. Kiya is our electrician for life!

majority rewire of old knob and tube home

Our new home had been sneakily re-wired to make a casual view of the system appear less outdated than it actually was. In fact it fooled a home inspector into stating the home had only 15% knob & tube. Kiya came in and told us that there was definitely more k&t than the inspector had reported. He gave us a very competitive quote for the level of professionalism that he offered. Upon starting the work he uncovered the extent of the half-assed job the previous 'electrician' had done (The house was more like 75% k&t). Kiya honored his original quote and completed the job in only 3 days. We did find that one of our outlets was not working after the job was complete. We called up Kiya and after missing each other on a few occasions, he remained true to his word and returned to fix the outlet. Other than that the job was done in a remarkably clean and efficient manner. I definitely recommend Kiya's workmanship.

UPGRADE ELECTICAL ON 2 STORY semi-DETACHED HOME

Found this site online, called the guy and was very happy with the work. Had other quote of $9,000 and he did it for $6,800. Workmanship was great and all in 4 days. Had my house almost completely rewired, no more bad reno wires and Knob and tube from the previous owner. His recommendations were great and he left us with our 100 year old home at Danforth and Coxwell feeling like it was new with very little holes for running wires

    whole house rewiring

Kiya and his team did a fantastic job rewiring my 3-storey Victorian house to replace old knob and tube and wire for a new kitchen. Throughout the process, I always felt that Kiya was watching out for my best interests. Their work was neat and they managed to fish wires into places that I thought would be impossible with minimal damage to walls and floors. This was a multi-stage job and Kiya was very accommodating of my schedule, worked quickly and efficiently and helped me minimize costs with helpful suggestions. He is definitely a problem-solver with a lot of experience with old houses and their challenges and quirks. He also seems very committed to customer service and keeping his clients happy. I would definitely recommend him to others.

    No power for many outlets

After using HomeStars to find a good mover, I was hopeful I would find a good, honest, trustworthy electrician to solve our power issues to all the electrical outlets in 2 of our bedrooms. I called Kiya and he was at our house the same day! He was very persistent and thorough with his analysis and refused to solve the situation without knowing what the origin of the problem was. Kiya has given us a great sense of relief, with the knowledge that he's found the poor 'handyman' work that was done previously and made it right. We will definitely have Kiya or anyone on his team to work on our electrical needs.

Check-out the whole electrical system of the house for proper functioning (indoor switches and garden light fixtures); installation of new 3"&4" pot lights throught the house as well as new carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, shower lights, garage motion

Kiya and his team were a delight to have working at our home. They were not only extremely professional (punctual, reliable, effecient), but quick and thorough. When we first contacted Kiya, he came back to us in no time. He explained clear and straight forwardly all the possible options for our project and helped us to make the best decision. Once we agreed on the specifics of the project, he started working right away and took him less than a week to finish the job with no flaws, in a very productive and clean way! Kiya is not just an electrician but an artist as well: he is not satisfied with something that just 'works'; it also has to look good and fit nicely with its surroundings, but never loosing sight of its "good value for money". Finally, Kiya has something difficult to find: a profesional pride in the work well done. We had a timer in the garage that controlled several lights, but nobody could make sense of. Kiya was up to the challenge and he didn't stop searching through Toronto until he found how it worked! We will certainly use Kiya again for any electrical work in our home and we highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a "GOOD" electrician
